Kevyn Adams has done a good job obtaining good players, they just have no direction or motivation from their coach. It is time for Krueger to go, plain and simple. Pull the trigger and get a seasoned coach like Gallant or some other winning coach. No more of these unproven losers. Do we have to wait to see another 5-2 loss? Really? How much more proof do you need? Either way, the team isn't going to get into the playoffs or win a Stanley Cup with Ralph. He has proven that he cannot coach.

Its not the coaches job to get players motivated for games. Thats up to the players. As an NHL player you should not need assistance getting motivated for your job........

Could you imagine using that as an excuse at work? "Yea sorry my performance has been weak because you havent motivated me enough to do a good job...." You'd be let go instantly.

Coaches motivate, just like your boss does at work. Good bosses get the most out of their employees and bad bosses don't. Yes, everyone is still working, however, in sports, you have to work the hardest to win. Coaches do make a difference.

And yes, Jack Eichel is no leader and should not be the captain of the team.

Oh I thought they traded Eichel, Hall and Skinner as I didn’t notice them. Are they still playing?

We really are entering an era of pro sports where guys pick and choose if, when and where they'll play. Even the Kyrie Irving thing. Like if you don't feel like playing a couple weeks just go awol. You're Jack Eichel and things aren't going your way, just mail it in.

We're reaching a point where team, city and the colors(colours) mean nothing. Being a fan of pro sports these days is more about being a 'Stan' of an individuals success and ability and watching them exploit that for their personal gain. Like the same way people obsess over the Kardashians or something.

Jack Eichel is obviously a super talented player but he has always come off like a pouty little biotch. Losing sucks but to me he is part of the problem and I have a hard time understanding how anyone else can’t see that? Guy has completely folded because the team isn’t performing. Instead of being part of the solution he goes out there lays down, bends over, and craps all over the ice. Embarrassing to watch that crap no matter how talented he is I wouldn’t want that persona on my team.

2-0 Islanders already and Krueger is still the coach. Do the Sabres have to lose every game of the season before Kevyn Adams has enough common sense to fire him. If so, he will be fired right along with him.

I can now conclude that this team is in fact that worst BUffalo Sabre team since the expansion team in 1969. BUT at least that team had hope and flare with Gilbert Perrault.

As a 50 plus year fan of the Sabres, I appeal to the Pegulas and former Buffalo Players who have been executives elsewhere to do the right thing and have some conversations that lead us out of this oblivion.

Sure is clear that our team is not having a good year and is clearly out of shape falling down on breakaways because we have not played games since March of 2020. We are out of game shape and look exhausted and the Covid 2 week layoff has had an impact. BUT this season is the worst display of TIN Men ever.

We need heart and passion.......Talk to Mr. Shoenfeld, Mr. Dudley, Mr. Lafontaine, Mr. Reiger, Mr. Bowman, Mr. Cherry, Mr. Orr and Mr. Gretzky and select a new coach as soon as possible. The Buffalo area is the top TV market in the nation and they need to have a top face at the top with the right experience.

WE need to rotate playeers in and out of the line-up

Perhaps Todd Rierden, perhaps Mike Yeo, perhaps Gerrard Gallant, perhaps Bruce Boudreau, perhaps James Patrick, perhaps Claude Julien and even Dan Blysma,
perhaps Martin Biron perhaps Adam Mair.
Definitely not Mike Babcock

The condition of the team needs an influx of youth. Trade Curtis Lazar or Cody Eakin.
Put Cozens at center with Casey Middlestadt and Tage Thomson on the wings and let them play as your thrid line, put Jack Hughes on the wing with Hall and Eichel,
Bring up the speed of CJ Smith and heart of Steve Fogarty and put them with Lazar.

Run 7 defenseman a game.....Play one defeseman at forward a shift a game
Play Eichel with Hall and Hughes and then run him and Hall at center an extra shift a period with Skinner and Olofson as well.....Double shift your stars!!!!!

Heck run Dahlen at center for a shift like we did with Housely years ago!~

Do something........Leave the watching to People Like ME!!!!

So on another forum, I read the Sabres are open for business, no one is untouchable!
In response, I said, Great! Once all the horses are gone, we are going to open up the barn doors!
People told me I got the sayin wrong!

Noppe! I got it exactly the way I wanted to present it!
The horses were all dispersed through trades and free agency since 2008:
Drury, Briere, Roy, Vanek, Pomminville, Miller.
Then Myers, Kane, O'Reilly were all run out of town, with absolutrely nothing to show for their talents either.
Even in last 2 years, we gave up on Lehner, Begosian, Simmonds, Vesey, Sheary, Kohun, Rodrigez, Sobotka, Bergland..... not to mention Larsson.....and we don't even have a bag of pucks to show for any of them.
Think about it we traded picks for Vesey twice, a 1st pick for Lehner a pick for Simmonds......
This is a classic lesson for all owners and GMs.....do not tear down the entire franchise to tank for one or two draft picks, when you need to develop a team....Retool with character, speed and grit don't just rebuild!!!!

With Kruger at the helm, the Snooze button has been depressed!
The solution is not to trade everyone......the solution is trade no one and let all these guys play out the season to be known as the worst team since the early Islanders of the 1970s who only won 6 games. Let them all wear this season on their career resume as they look for their next contract. Let them watch the game replays that show them gliding to the bench for line changes or looking the other way when their teamates get punched in the face or back of the head!~ Let them be known as Greedy Traitors.....betrayers of their fans and the owners who pay them top dollars!
This is a team of Tin Men that any Dorothy could push over.....there is no passion or pride!!!

They do not deserve to wear the Sabre emblem, they are not Sabre rattlers and they have no idea how to live and die by the swords they wear on their jerseys~!

Okay, three straight 5-2 losses. What does that tell anybody with any common sense? No improvement and incapable of ever winning. This is all on the coach. If Krueger is still the coach Monday, then the Pegulas need to fire Kevyn Adams as well.

It’s assumed Jack has been playing while injured and it hasn’t worked out well. This organizations fans are bad at blaming a player for everything that goes wrong when he should either not be playing or at least respected for trying.

This is so true...when you lose by the same score three times in a row with different players then that tells you it is the coaching style.

The one thing that stood out to me after watching three consecutive 5-2 losses is that this team has no heart or fight in them. I was waiting for somebody to get mad and take a run at somebody or start a fight with somebody to change things up but nothing. It was like nobody cared. Tough to watch

Eichel will get traded in the summer. Clearly this core of Eichel, Reinhart, Ristolainen, McCabe and Skinner isn’t working.

Time to dismantle and start from scratch. Only two that should be kept that are on the current roster are Dahlin and Cozens.

If the team gets a good coach, it will go far. So far, they have not had a decent coach sent their way and that is why they rebel. Talent needs someone who can develop it, and there has been no one at the coaching level that can do this. If the Pegulas pay some real good money and get a good coach, then this team will thrive.
