I think I figured out what's wrong with Patrick, he thinks the puck is a live hand grenade. |

This power play is just awful!!! They cannot deal with pressure defense. And yes Hartnell brings new meaning to "Hartnell down" with this broadcast...really terrible |

The biggest cause of the Flyers poor D zone coverage is the continuous turnovers along the boards and their own blue line. They have to work on their d zone exits. |

One and done constantly. No zone time at all. The linesman gives the Caps a mystery icing |

Its the Wussification of hockey, as Mike Milbury said often, and the way icings are called is a great example. Linesman are so quick to blow the whistle, even when there is a tie between the two players. I understand the rule to be if the puck cross the goal line and the defending player hits the faceoff circle before the attacking player then icing occurs. This means if its a tie you have let it go, but they NEVER call it that way.
Edut: Watched reply and the Caps player did beat JVR to the dot. Still I see this way too often! |

Officiating awful, but the Flyers didn’t show up in the 2nd. Got what they deserved.
It’s Groundhog Day every time they play. They ever have a laugher against anyone but Buffalo? Too much to ask to win a few 4-1? |

Former players are supposed to give you some insight into the game. Hartnell gives you nothing. Why not give Morganti a shot at it? |

On that second goal, Provorov slid too far to one side causing Braun to over compensate and end up covering a Caps player on Provorov's side, means Orlof all alone in the slot. Another example of poor coverage in the slot area by the Flyers D, in this case Provorov has to let his man go after he leaves a certain radius from the net. |
