They have to be up with the team on the taxi squad because of NHL COVID protocol.
If you have an injury and they call a player from BP they can’t come up without first quarantining I believe 10 days. Bolduc getting time down there is awesome and he’s playing great. He probs breaks the line up next year at some point. - nyisles7
Makes sense. Just makes it difficult to keep guys fresh and to be able to continue developing younger guys like Aho and Bellows for that matter. But I get it. |

I’d make him do all the long trips than sit his a$$ the entire game. |

Only a matter of time until those medically repaired knees just can’t take it anymore.
Vacation to Robidas Island with first class accommodations could be in Ladd’s future. |

Maybe he'd rather skate for the Worcester Railers? |

I'd rather he skate for the Iserlohn Roosters, which is a team in the German league that currently employees former Islander-great Griffin Reinhart.
I can't stop laughing about the fact that Reinhart plays for a team called the Roosters |

With covid I really don't understand why the Canadian government is still giving the 2 week quarantine after testing negative multiple times and basically not leaving a hotel room by yourself. That is ridiculous. It should be 2 negative tests and your cleared to play. |

Down a goal in the third with a potential 2-0 or 2-1 developing and AJ Greer falls over his own feet and goes offsides
We now check in on AJ Greer's chances of getting a callup to the NHL:

Because our socialist (and relatively efficient) medical system cannot handle high case loads without significant risk of collapse. Hence the additional caution. |

ABC/ESPN will pay around $2.8B over 7 years ($400M per year) for the rights to the 'A' package, The Post has learned. +

While that looks like double the $200M AAV that NBC is currently paying, it really isn't.
I'm told NBC is paying $240M for this year, while ESPN already had a pre-existing deal, through its BAM acquisition, for $100M, making the increase more moderate at $60M.
Andrew Marchand @AndrewMarchand

This makes sense for the NHL because it will now do a second deal with either the incumbent NBC or Fox or a wild card, where they will get the upside of the increase with two partners.

It was important to Disney to get the "A" package, which will allow it to pick which conference final it wants each year. It will make its choice after the second round.

And the ESPN music is back!

Forgetting how intolerable ESPN can generally be, it should be really good for the league. Hopefully it jacks that cap back up sooner than later - eichiefs9
There is no way to forget how intolerable ESPN is and will be for the foreseeable future. For so many years the Isles have sucked and no one wanted to broadcast their games. Now they are finally good and they may wind up on ESPN! I'm probably going to have to watch with the sound off. |

They have to rest a few of these players with this crazy schedule. Bring Johnson in especially when we play Washington. - Hockeyislife
Idt you want to weaken your line up vs the caps when they are right behind you in the standings. |

May not matter for awhile. Apparently the cap is going to stay flat for a pretty long time. Looks like at least four more years, until the CBA extension is up with the NHLPA
