I hear you, but I’d keep the identity line in tact. They are humming right now- playing great hockey, many times shutting down teams first lines, and still putting up much needed secondary points. I think the sum is greater than the parts with them and wouldn’t break up. We’ll see tomorrow but have a feeling Wahlstrom moves up somewhere and pags plays w Komarov & MDC. Just my opinion.

If lee is out until the playoffs they can exceed the cap by 7 million and acquire one or two players to be on the Pageau line if wahlstrom is given a promotion

I agree. Although personally I’d rather Lee be back sooner (so he is fit for playoff hockey) than be out two months (so we can add while exceeding cap) and need to re-aclimate. That to me is a risky proposition.
