I never watched either, but, I do know that a goaltender is a part of the team, Jets have a very good goalie, Leafs, not so much.
Could you imagine how much worse the Canucks would be, if they didn't have good goalkeeping over the last 2.5 seasons. Lol
Also, it is never the wrong team won, when it involves the Leafs being the loser.

I don't dislike the Flames like most in here, heck I used to always cheer for them back in the Oilers heyday, because the Canucks were complete garbage.

Saw a tweet today about this years drinking game while watching the Canucks play. Everytime the announcers highlight Myers extended shift. You get right liquored one guy said.
I know I am one of the few but I like Sutter and Beagle for another year. Sutts would be an insurance policy at the right price and obvious he is a team leader. I want Sutter as a fourth line guy . He is great on the PK also. - VANTEL
You can't really have a guy for PK only in your team. He does not produce enough 5v5 and is dragging his linemates down. Sutter needs to go. Bottom 6 has sucked for years. He is part of it. Team goes nowhere with him in the line up next year.

Come on Canuck coaches, I’m so confused. Play well in February but can’t string wins together to save your lives, then play poorly (not you Demmer, never you) in March and take down the mighty Leafs and Habs. I’m just not sure if I should stay or if I should go. How about play well AND win?

Ya almost on board with this I still like a Sutter/Pearson trade to recoup assets for the bottom 6...but can we say bottom 6 or top 6 anymore or should we just look at getting '4 scoring lines' and be done with it lol

WPG is the deepest team in our division. Pionk has more points(by 1) than Rielly in less games, and they have 6 legit top 6 players vs Toronto only having 4. Their bottom 6 is also better. The only thing Toronto has over WPG is the better top 6 player in Matthews, and even that is marginal.
