No Svetch tonight, Bernier in goal

I'm beginning to wonder if the line-ups are the result of darts thrown at a list of random DRW names...…..

At the rate the line-ups are going, I half-ass expect to see Shanny come out on the 3d line with Chelly on the #1 D-Paring with Al Arbour

My working theory is that the laws of nature require Blashill to make at least one stupid roster move to compensate for the fact that Filppula and Nielsen are both correctly scratched.

To me Brome is the obvious guy to sit. And if you don't want to sit any one guy repeatedly, rotate the scratch between, say, Brome, Helm, and Erne. I'd even suggest Namestnikov if the Wings weren't so incredibly thin on guys who can play center.

I think this year’s Detroit Red Wings team is the answer to the question, “What would happen if you made a team out of nothing but third liners and no. 4/5 defensemen?”

Nobody is terrible and nobody is good. Unfortunately hockey is a strong link game, so if you have nothing but mediocre players you get sub-mediocre results.

I'll be watching tonight, hope everything is well and you are in good health Jeremy.

We are bound to eventually beat Tampa, maybe that's gonna be tonight. I'd think we see Bernier tonight, they seem to play better in front of him. Still baffled by Brome getting the nod over Svech, unless that changes before game time, he's earned his spot, let the guy play.

Also looks like Stetcher is back, maybe in for Merrill instead of Nemeth, big guy scored last game so he's probably on the Blash list of loved players right now.

LGW!
