Wasn't it 5 years ago or so they went on an absurd 10 game winning season in Nov-Dec, where they ended up pulling out games that they should have lost? Well, the law of averages kicked in soon thereafter.

This season, they were bad, getting badly outshot, losing possession metrics, just having a very high shg %.

Well, the law of averages has kicked in again.

This is a confused, demoralized team right now. As Richie18 said, this is as compelling a case as any to not make a Ekholm trade b/c based on current form, this team is not going anywhere (I never thought they were contenders but right now they are not a playoff team).

The only thing this game is missing is an injury. I’m calling it right now, Sanheim breaks Ovie in half with a huge open ice hit.

After the way he manhandled that monster Gerbe last year its the only logical conclusion.

Looking for something good to watch? I recommend The Investigation. It’s a Danish mini-series, on HBO, about a murder investigation. It’s based on a true story. It’s a very different kind of cop/murder investigation show. Not a lot of action and you never see the murder suspect. It focuses on the cops as they try to build a case. Best thing I’ve seen in a while.

It is sad for sure. And as I stated I don't think playing him on the 4th line is going to help him at this point. I have barely noticed him on the ice tonight.
