I think the best LTIR retirement story has to be the Hossa one. A perfectly fit athlete one day wakes up and is allergic to the Chicago Blackhawks uniform. Not allergice to any other article of clothing on the planet just Chicago sweaters.

No vaccine, ointment or underwear could prevent the skin disease soon as the jersey went on Hossa started melting.

I have a friend who has the same condition as Hossa, pretty nasty condition, could no longer put his gear on as it hurt too much.
My brother played on the same team as him, the guy was literally screaming when putting on his hockey gear.

Agree on all but Sutter. He’s proven to me to be a steady player & preferably a 4C if someone can step up as 3C.

He’d have to be willing to sign a team friendly 1 year deal.

Finding highlights on players this season is quite difficult.

For some reason watching games on onhockey has become next to impossible due to pop ups and bad links since Feb.

I did slap together a list of 51 players over 65 spots over the past week. I'm still waiting to see some players from the WHL and OHL though.

I’ll research prospects once this job ends. Hard to peg them with so much upheaval in leagues.

I think a few of us would in here too.. but JB talking about resigning guys doesn't seem like it will go that way. If he started to sell guys, he'd be admitting this team he built isn't very well, and won't be turning it around this season.

I'd wait another couple weeks then evaluate. Pearson could get a good return, as with Sutter (2nd rounders?). Especially if they're both going to Canadian teams with no quarantine required.

Edler and Hamonic would be decent, but I doubt either of them agrees to go.

Benn for a low pick.

Maybe a team will even take a flyer on Baertschi, since he's already in the US. But I highly doubt that.

I’d think 3rds would be offered but if 2nds then jump on it.

Pearson in for a rude awakening though. He's a 2.5M player on his next contract the way he has been playing. Bumped down easily.
