Green blew up at the team this morning, had a one on one instruction with Hughes.
Schmidt then interviewed about Green blowing up and swearing at the players said, he should have after what we did.

The American Hockey League announced Friday that games involving the Comets on Friday against the Syracuse Crunch and Saturday at the Rochester Americans have been postponed.
The AHL said in a release the reason for Friday's postponement between Utica and Syracuse was "out of an abundance of caution in accordance with the AHL’s COVID-19 protocols." Syracuse's release noted the schedule change was not due to a positive COVID-19 test.

Demko now ranks 10th overall in minutes played this season (1,127:50). But even though he's more than 100 minutes behind league leaders John Gibson and Connor Hellebuyck, Demko ranks second (behind Hellebuyck) in both shots faced (628) and saves made (574). But he's eighth in goals against (54), which speaks to the value that he's delivering to the Canucks in net this season.
One thing some goaltending scouts remind me is the compressed schedule is inflating the stats of some goaltenders. Demko would be one. Due to the schedule, half of the North division essentially rests or reduces use of top players when they are playing the Senators or Canucks. Games against the Canucks only matter to the Flames, Habs and Senators. To the Oil, Jets and Maple Leafs these mid-season games mean nothing. As such, it would be foolish to use DemKo's current stats as a guage for his potential future effectiveness when games against the Canucks actually matter for opponents.
Nice!!! Need a little passion and anger in that room...is Bieksa back??

We don't really. It wouldn't hurt but what we need is more talent. That's it pretty simple. No more 6 x 6 contracts for Louis and Myers like wtf. Can't wait to see what Jimbo does this off season if he's still employed. Prob Taylor Hall 8 x 11

Benning was asked a few days ago if Demko's hot streak will have any effect on their offer of a new contract.

I think your post is dumb because you are suggesting that pro hockey players consciously take nights off. I think that’s silly. The reason these guys make it to the NHL (and so many don’t) is their innate desire to succeed and win.

League leading goal scorer Mathews said in interview how frustrated he was in trying to score against the Canucks. Getting swept with all that ice time was a wake up call.
Every game matters but you're a fake and know nothing.
