That falls 50/50 between him and baumer. Hughes isnt getting better either. OJ isnt allowed to play. Benn was still 23% better in MTL. Claude julien is still available. - manvanfan
Lets face it, that was an awefull effort on Wednesday, they will be better tonight. As long as they entertain I'm happy which wasn't the case on Wednesday. - Bettmanhatesus
I watched 5 minutes and thought sleep seemed like a much better idea. The highlights the next day showed I made the right choice. Tonight, alcohol will be involved.

Thanks Carol! They'd be pretty stupid to let Clark go.. but, living in a day to day world, who knows what goes on.
I get that, but also don't think the Canucks have ever had the top-of-the-line young guys that they have now. The league has also changed to a younger man's game: players like Linden and the twins HAD to work their way up. Petey and Hughes are so talented, and mature, they could handle it. Bo, however, worked his way up.
I think Podkolzin falls into the talented group – especially since he's played against men the last few seasons – and can slot more directly into the top 6. Players like Lind, Gadj, MacEwen.. those are the guys that will be brought in from the bottom up, and eventually replace Motte. However, they're not ready to replace Motte, and Motte being the best bottom 6 player/PKer on the team, is the least worthy to be replaced. Rous, Sutter, Beagle, etc all need to go before Motte gets pushed out because he'll make a little more than the entry level guy coming in. - NewYorkNuck
Pod should start on the 4th line and work his way up... let the roussels, beagles, virtanems, etc... go via trade for picks or whatever ahl'r they can get... let good young players start on the 3rd/ 4th line and work up
