If you figured it out, I sure hope Freddie doesn’t figure out they think he’s the weak link.

Here’s a song from concert of their’s I was at when I was 17. I only learned this existed a week or two ago. I posted a song from this then. I was standing in the front row for their set. If you scroll to bottom of article I’m partially visible arm by Plant’s left leg. I remember the two girl’s (blonde and curly) and always wore long sleeve shirt over T shirt. Feels weird to see and hear it.

Damn, I can only imagine how amazing it would have been to see these guys just as they were blowing up!
I'm jealous that your arm was able to share an intimate moment with Robert Plant. (I know, phrasing) |

Campbell will get starts when he gets back. If he blows them away, they’ll increase the %. Otherwise, it’s Fred till they’re dead.
I don’t think he’s back next year. - Canada Cup

I dunno, I think Anaheim would be crazy to trade him. Good contract, still fairly young. I think he is still a piece that Anaheim needs during a rebuild.
Be great if we could get him. I feel like an upper-third NHL goalie would put the Leafs right in the middle of the contender conversation. They are almost there now, but the goaltending is a serious weakness. - Aetherial
Maybe so... just thinking that there's got to be other pieces out there that are available. Plus, Nylander has got to go to be able to re-sign Hyman, get a new goalie, and be flexible enough to re-sign Rielly in '22.
One can dream. |

How much will it puss you off that I wasn’t really a fan and went to see the opening act? |

I'm not terribly worried about Gibson's numbers with ANA when our own goalie, with a much better team in front of him, has been pretty damn putrid himself.
Gibby's NTC kicks in next season so now would be the time for ANA to trade him. The question is whether they think they'll be contenders any time soon and if Lukas Dostal is a stud and is close to ready to making the leap.
As per the price: Willie. Add pieces on whichever side of the equation you think gets this deal done. - mjones242
Wait! We’re doing this don’t excuse Freddie’s goals thing and we’re going to trade Nylander for someone who lets them in more often (but probably none of them are softies) where the one advantage of Freddie is that he’s gone next year?
Do I have that right? |

So you trade willie for Gibson plus?
A goalie with worse numbers than andy.

I'd be willing to gamble that Gibby is much better than Freddie at this point.
I'm also speculating that Nylander will be a necessary casualty if the Leafs plan on re-signing Hyman and spending 5-6M on a replacement for Freddie.
Which is to say: I have no idea and I'm just spitballin' here without much critical thought on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Please don't make me think too much harder... it hurts. |

I think this is a non-starter. Doubt Anaheim would trade him. Lots for them to trade, not Gibson though.
