I did like Tage Thompson. Hopefully he figures it all out and becomes what we all think he is capable of |

Sabres fan here. It's weird - I've rarely seen a team that keeps making the wrong decision almost every time. We try to make the right move, oh Lord how we try, but everything we try does not work. For 10 years now.
This team needs a hockey czar. But I'm pretty sure even if they think they finally hired the right guy for that position, somehow it'd go horribly wrong. It would work elsewhere, just not here. We're cursed. - kritter65
If the team keeps making the wrong decision virtually every time, there’s only one Cauchy for this team: George “Mr. Opposite” Costanza.

Dammit I just made myself hungry. 😂😃😃😃😃 - BluesDroogie
Straight up made one myself after I read that. Buffalo would do best with a D first mentality, Some changes coming to the lineup of course but I think in that division thats the best shot to succeed. The current system play is hard to watch its so bad.......and I'm a Philly fan - we ain't setting a high bar lately.

Would be nice if this wasn’t brought up every time the Sabres suck thread starts. Yeah the Sabres got robbed. They also finished dead last with ROR the season before so it’s certainly possible he wasn’t going to be the answer in Buffalo either. Thems the breaks I guess. |

That’s all Buffalo does is shot suppression. That’s why with the best top 6 they’ve had in a decade they’re still being outshot 10+ a game. It’s only defense, and if you don’t like it park it next to the 9M former 40 goal scorer in skinner who dares to try and play offense. This is the German motivational speakers team now.. |

It is quite clear that the team cannot or should I say will not win a single game unless they fire Krueger. The team is intentionally rebelling against Ralph. It is time that the Pegulas get a seasoned coach, not some fluke that has never been tried or was fired for running a team into the ground, i.e., Krueger. Gallant, and others are available so let's move before they are gone and the team has to settle for some other no-name coach. This bull crap has gone on for far too long. Now they cannot even score a goal or should I say refuse to score a goal. Enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Ok. I will stop. Hope Thompson turns out good though. I had hopes for him. I guess I still do. |

Bruce Boudreau! He wants the job... keeps dropping hints in interviews. He hasn't had a losing season and more first place finishes in 13 years than the Sabres have had in 51 years! The offensive players (Eichel, Skinner, Hall, Reinhart, Montour, Dahlin) would have structure they can buy into in that they will be playing an uptempo offense first system... they will have fun and become entertaining again. Maybe, just maybe, they could win some games along the way. |

Sabres Organization needs to fire everyone. Not even joking
Fire the Coaches
Fire the development Team
Fire the Scouts
Fire the GM
Have the Owner fire himself
Replace with competent people
Trade Eichel to the Rangers for Zibanejad, Georgiev and Kaako
Trade Hall for whatever you can
Take Okposo out back and put him out of his misery
Retool from FA Market

He’s not the problem. And he’s not worthless. Very wrong on both accounts. - TurdFergeson
He’s not the problem and he’s not worthless. His contract is a problem and he’s worth less than 8 mil a year. They should look long and hard before resigning him to anything close to that and maybe 2 to 3 years. |

Hall is going to sign in Calgary as a UFA. Oops.
Ok. Hall is going to be traded to Calgary. E4.
If not, Hall is going to sign in Calgary as a UFA.
Hall was born in Calgary. |
