I doubt he'll be much in the NHL, but getting anything out of a 4th rounder from 5 years ago is a win as far as I'm concerned

Keep in mind that Panarin only cracked 20 goals in 2 of seven seasons in the KHL. Not saying he'll be anywhere close to Artemi, but his .28gpg is identical to Panarin's gpg in that league

If the guy can fit the system and chip in 15-25-40pts a year I'm all for it. I don't think he's super quick for his size, which is usually a bit concerning with smaller players but it's basically a free asset that nobody really expected so there's very little downside.
