Have to agree.
Dhaliwal on Pearson: The desire to keep him is real. Everyone in the organization likes this guy but it's easier said than done (cap issues)...I just don't see how they can make him a competitive offer. - VanHockeyGuy
It is going to be tight for sure. |

Trade. The. Man.
It'll be tight to resign him, they will probably overpay compared to what he/a comparable would sign in the offseason, his numbers are good but not great and replacing his output is not a huge burden, signing him long term will be singing him through his declining years, it's a short sighted move when the team won't be competitive (by JBs own words) for another couple seasons.

Sutter and Pearson should get something coming back. Not sure what to do with JV but if it's Pearson/Sutter & JV for Debrusk-2nd better make that sh!t happen lol |

It is a wrist injury, I would hold off until the end of month. They have a 5 day break coming up, take advantage and let that injury heal. - Reubenkincade

Yes, please trade Pearson, Sutter, and Benn. Take what you can get and move on. I actually think we should keep JV though. I say ride out his contract and his value could possibly be a lot higher in his UFA year than it is right now. |

I think so too. His value can't really get any lower than it was. Play him more in the top 6 after the Pearson trade and see what he can do with those minutes. |

Boston has about 4.3 remaining, so ya, they can make it work. Van could even retain half of Sutter/Pearson so Boston can make another move |

I think DeBrusk needs a change of scenery much like Jake. Could work for both teams. |

Bo would be sad if you traded his linemate.

I read a lot of different sites and comments, it amazes me, how many people think this guy never got a fair chance.

Makes me very happy that he’s interested Blue and green. Rasmus says it makes him happy as well. |
