He did it for a second in the 3rd(which is what reminded me).
Not saying he never does it and 3 on 3 is a perfect time, just that he doesn’t do it as often.

The Canucks were lucky to get the win.

Last two games were losses without a hot goalie for sure. Not so much luck though, he's been drafted and developed to be the top goalie. Unless jb is just VERY lucky at drafting. Think it's fairly safe to say he's one of the better draftig gms in the league.

Eagle has been one of our best for a decade, the hate has died down on here but the guy is underrated

He sure did.
Edler and Myers also had very good games.

He's been really good lately - he's finally starting to take some chances offensively too. I also haven't noticed Schmidt making many mistakes lately either - he's been much much better, maybe he's finally settling in?

But man oh man Demko's been incredible - I think its hard to appreciate how lucky we are that we (potentially) have this guy as our starter for the next 5-10 years bcus we've been getting peppered with shots (and Benning, and Green, and Contracts and systems) and it overshadows the wins - plus we're surrounded by a ton of whiny bitc%es.

I think he's just adapting, lots of turnovers this year have been hanging on to the puck so i think he's figuring out how to deal with the extra attention this year for sure

No one can take his job yet, so yes.

No one is allowed too. Green wants to keep country club life.

Good teams have great goalies and a lot of time those goalies steal games/series, wins cups, mask warts, carry teams, it happens ALL THE TIME, league wide, every year. We potentially have a one of those goalies - at the beginning of his career. We should be pumped, it fascinates me that most people can't just focus on something good for a minute.

The team infront is not good enough. The defence is not good enough. Can only hope JB trades picks to improve the club at the tdl again.

There is a lot of good things coming this way for the team but most like to focus on Beagle Eriksson and Sutter and Roussel.

I think most people recognize the good, but don't want to focus solely on it because then it starts to gloss over the bad. And the bad is the team in front of the all star goalie isn't good enough. It makes people (GMs) think the team is better than it is and act according to that.

And yes, great goalies steal games, win series.. but if that's what you're banking on (and the last few season the Canucks have heavily relied on elite goaltending to be a bubble team), it's not the safest or smartest bet, because as we saw against Vegas, it doesn't work.

I'm happy we have Demko, though he's playing himself into a contract that's going to make the cap juggling more difficult, and glad he's part of this core. I just hope they build a better team in front of him sooner rather than later.

of course they're not! I wasn't implying Demko is gonna carry us to the promised land without fixing other areas first but he's certainly the guy if the ship ever straightens.

I don't think anyone thinks this team is better than they are (if they do, will the real slim shady please stand up) - most are realistic in terms of what the limit is this season - all I'm saying is most people gloss over the good and focus solely on the bad

If Beagle and Eriksson and Sutter and Roussel weren't here, the team wouldn't have to wait for the good things coming this way, the good things would already be here

Some agents thinking Petey going to get 7-8 on 3 year deal and Hughes 6-7 on 3 year as well.

I wouldn't mind seeing a 4th line of Sutter with Motte and Hawryluk. Both wingers skate hard and do a bit of grinding.
