I WOULD EXPECT HIM TO BE BETTER, ITS 3 years since he has been with the Hawks - LAHawk
Recall the coaching staff- actually Bowman on down- thought Forsling was able to play at speed, to make decisions and plays at speed. Generally that was more offensively than the defensive part of his game. He sometimes was timid and only briefly at first was he promising. The Ruuta - Forsling pair just was not good. Ruuta himself looked pretty good at first. After he suffered a concussion then upon return Ruuta just stood and watched, not willing to check or engage physically. Forsling has a good shot and was adequate puck mover back then. He needed experience and I am just wondering how his strength and toughness is now three years later.
ADD Remember too U Samuelson was in charge of the dmen |

2 power plays, 0 shots on goal, ouch |

A hole move by Keith, they deserved that goal.
Can't have your mature vets doing stupid poop like that. - vabeachbear
JC told Keith to play that way to give Boqvist game experience defending the 2 on 1. Seems like it happens every game. |

They can barely make it into the zone. Lots of standing around at the blueline, and for some reason there seems to be a lot of bunching and Hawks running into each other.
Overall, they are really struggling to even enter the O-zone, let alone develop any possession. I'd like to see Kane be more direct instead of trying to stickhandle his way through/around guys. But what do I know. I'm just an idiot with a keyboard. |

I was hoping Boqvist would of shot instead of passed at least twice, looked like he had a lane to shoot it through |

Yup Samuelson and Steve Weeks as the goalie coach, 2 buds of Q from the Whalers. Both canned after 1 year

And then he plasters a defenseman behind the goal. Good to see. |

Got away with it once not covering a guy in the middle of the ice, this team really needs to focus on their assignments |

I officially take the Sikura tag off of Hagel. |
|
|
|
I love how Hagel skates back to the pass then passes it to the dman, skates to a open passing lane carries the puck in the ozone passes and heads to the front of the net
Skating back to the pass is definitely something Kubalik needs to work on |

You should have done that when he scored his first goal |

I wish we had the whole ice view of the game so we could see where all the forwards are, because Keith seems like he is making some absolutely horrible passes tonight. Weak and into dangerous areas. |

Okay now don't give up another one quickly |

That last PK they were just .1 seconds behind the play so close but yet so far |
