PK Subban should have been penalized for cross checking Hall from behind into the shooting lane of Miller. If his intent was to just move Hall from in front it’s still a penalty that is called regular.
That whole scenario told a story. First no penalty is called then no teammates come to Halls aid to face punch Subban. Some will say that wasn’t necessary but Taylor Hall says different by his actions. Notice when Hall returns he wants to even the score with Subban in any way he can. He wants some type of reaction from this and instead of the team tough guy looking after business Hall concentrates his time on revenge for himself. There has been way too many times this year where the opposing team takes cheap shots that are left with no pushback from anyone. If you think opposing teams don’t notice this and take advantage of it take another close look. The Sabres identity right now through the league is soft so squeeze the Charmin and run anyone.
I’d like to see this team get tougher, it won’t cost much but will make a huge difference.
