Good to hear... and I still wouldn’t be upset with a Gallant or BBQ Bruce... I know retread. Blah blah blah. But also proven. At least they’d right the ship and have had some success... I’d be happy with competent behind the bench right now...

I don't know if the above post made it clear, but Vogl essentially said the Sabres are going the rest of the season with interim coaches. Which means, either the Sabres reached out or the coaches agents reached out. What matters is, there's base communication.

Sorry if I'm just regurgitating information.

What coach would take this job until they knew what was going on with Jack
- Stripes77

That’s interesting, so do potential new coach and jack have a discussion before he takes the job? Could that be a thing?!? Does that run through Adams, “hey Jack we want to bring in Mike Milbury to coach, Whatta think?”

You saw this in Houston.

They hired David Culley, a real Ralph Krueger kinda hire, because no serious coach wanted to go to Houston without Watson.

Only a year and 3 months... 🤷‍♂️

Pegs, thank you for biting the bullet. I know it sucks paying out millions for people to sit on the couch... just get the next hire right...

Leaman seems to be garnering a lot of noise lately. So, that'll be a candidate.

Don Granato spent six-plus seasons as a head coach in the American Hockey League before a three-year stint with the USA Hockey National Team Development Program.

This is his fifth season as an assistant coach in the NHL.

They deserve the spite, but being short on cash isn't exactly great for the team. It's their fault through and through, but I'd rather them have the cash to fill out hockey ops. Which is a barren wasteland.

I don't take a lot of credence in those stats. He's coached winning teams, and he has a lot of experience being an associate/assistant.

He's an interim anyway. So. Whatever. Just do something different than Ralph. For the love of God.

Sal sent out a tweet comparing Brown and Sanders, which helps make sense of the situation.

1. They very well may have had concerns about his injuries going forward. He was banged up a lot last year.
2. Bills WRs got pushed around a bit against press over past couple years. Sanders is known as a tough receiver, off the line and with the ball.

I still don't know if they want a burner and how he will be acquired.

I don't think they need a classic burner. Diggs and Davis can both get deep when needed.

Bills trade Lee Smith to Falcons for a late-round pick in 2022. Saves about $2.5 million in cap space.

I’m actually not that surprised tbh.

Arthur Smith is the new HC though and if he is going to run the same offence he did in TEN then it doesn’t hurt to have a TE whom can block.

I’m guessing Ellis has helped Mitts look like a hockey player... Ellis also broke jack, so maybe tone the workouts down just a little bit. Lol

You’re all welcome on telling you yesterday Krueger was gone, Buffalo39 strikes again
