I agree with you.
Culture is a fad that is brought up by teams whom consistently suck.
However, the Pats won 3 Super Bowls in the early 2000’s and Brady ranked 14th in passer efficiency through 2001-2004 so saying it’s all because of him is false. The Patriots won 3 SB’s with average QB, strong running game, elite defences - Pegullaville

I know it's early, and I know Beane did well to keep the guys he wanted to keep, and I know money being spent so far in FA is crazy, but I still don't like how we're being shut out so far. Bring me a big new shiny toy already. This kind of sucks so far. - kritter65

There isn’t anyone on that list I would disagree with.
I don’t see why more people don’t understand the Risto issue. I like him played in the right position, with the right partner. He just isn’t going to be worth the next contract. Especially when that is the strength of our pipeline.
My biggest issue is trusting Kim n Co. to maximize the value for the trades. They can probably do ok with Staal and Monte. Maybe Miller. But beyond that, I have zero faith in them making deals that will actually be good for this team.
Adams did ok with Staal at the time. But look at the grigs, Tage and Eakins contracts. Big. Fat. Woof!!! I just want to see help for an inexperienced gm, I want to see the current know it all president on her yacht and I’d like to see an nhl caliber coach.
I won’t throw any names out there. I almost don’t care what the names are, except for McGuire, Milbury, Babcock, Roloston and Ralph....
The team needs help and the owners are more worried about the lifestyle.

People think this won’t get worse....or stay like this for long

That said, I'd be shocked if Adams' is able to extract anything near proper value for any asset traded.
And, at this point, the realization has hit me that the Sabres under current ownership and management will never come close to competing. They are a mockery, a beautiful combination of arrogance and ignorance resulting in extraordinary incompetence.

It's amazing that at no point in the past 10 years have the Sabres simply gotten lucky and had a team shoot like 13% or have a goalie post a .945 and luck their way in.
So idk. I don't really want to ask what a worse 10 years would look like because I'm sure it's possible but at the same time, how could any 10 year stretch be this dismal?
What does worse look like? I literally can't imagine
