Going on LTIR doesn't stop the SALARY being paid to Jack in the form of Cash/check.
It only recategorizes the CAP hit so it doesn't count towards their CAP limit.
In other words Cap is a paper tally of average contract value per season, while Salary is the outflow of cash to players.

They wouldn't save cash, which is what insiders say is the Pegula's issue...trying to save cash payments out.

I want the Sabres to get creative in their management system. If Jack is done for year. Take advantage of the system as other teams are doing and take him off their salary cap.

And, I want a new coach!!

Been a few years since I’ve watched him regularly but he was great in Denver.

Might be a little long in the tooth but as a #2 or #3 option he can run the whole route tree and can still provide value.

Like Ion explained, I don't think LTIR means what you think it means. It lets them add cap to the team, and costs them more real money.

As of now, we're looking at a bonus overage again next year. Fun times.

I haven't received a text on this nor has the NFL Network announced this yet.

I must say that I'm a bit concerned that we haven't acquired an edge rusher yet.
That d-line needs help rushing the passer as we all know.

I also think that we need a power RB.
I'd love to see Hendrickson from New Orleans and Jamaal Williams from Green Bay in a Bills uniform but our funds are running low.
Especially if this Sanders deal is true.

I mean he can return punts but he hasn’t done it in a full time role since his days back with the Steelers.

In Denver he would do it sparingly but it was mostly Isaiah McKenzie who did the PR/KR ironically enough.

He's buying everything else downtown. He's old as (frank) though so that's not great in terms of long-term stability

It's 18 skaters giving the bare minimum of effort to not get embarrassed. Perimeter and point shots. Tage did get himself into the best spot before doing Tage things
