Me too! I have loved the idea of Gillis since before they hired Botts.

Gillis stated in black and white that he is only interested in working with progressive minded owners who are willing to challenge the status quo, use data in all facets to drive decisions and centralize control of hockey Ops under a President.

They fit absolutely zero of those criteria.

Like Ion explained, I don't think LTIR means what you think it means. It lets them add cap to the team, and costs them more real money.

That may be so but I get that they still have to pay Jac. But wouldn’t his money come off the books if he his on LTIR.

And the Pegulas have stated years back that their sole purpose was to win a Stanley Cup.

Maybe move assets. Trade Dahlin for Dubois, Staal for Foegle, Hall for Monahan, Montour for Turcotte, Idk. Do something smart for (frank) sakes. Instead of just standing (frank)ing idle and making a fool of yourselves.

Start by firing Ralphy and hiring a real NHL hockey coach like Bruce. I guarantee you Ralph will emphasize words like “clearity, certainly, fight, bite, next, effort, character, progress, guarantee, ext.”

The point is, he his full of poop. Enough is enough. This coach needs to go!!

I have no idea...I have zero real connections to the Bill's outside of one Sr VP of one their "Partners"...he is in the know quite a bit but remains mum on nearly everything...he has to.

I will say his encounters with Kim are not positive experiences from a business perspective...says she is not the sharpest knife in the drawer and laughs when I ask if she plays stupid.

It remains one of life's great mysteries on the vast differences between Bill's successes and Sabres misfortunes. I just know that when I watched the video when Terry said...this means we are going all in, when they were negotiating his signing...I too laughed that they thought the roster was a Hall away from competing for anything.

They are a lost cause.
All I say is enjoy this period with the Bill's under McBeaner ... history points to a long, long errand walkabout in the desert...IMO of course.
