My thoughts exactly. - Wildschwein
Aho has been ok but man Dodson needs to get back he really settles things down and makes good passes and smart decisions |

Agree completely. It’s no knock on Aho, but Dobson is simply the better player. |

I actually read about him the other day when I think chiefs posted about him. The article translated KHL point production into his potential NHL points based on some factor that put him in I think 15 goals and 35 total points. I believe would slot him pretty well on third line. We shall see how he adjusts. But he has offensive capability with an edge that I didn’t realize until today. - TogaIsles
If he gets a shot at the NHL it will be interesting to see what he does. Remember these conversions are an average that take into account the top players that came here as well. Jon Kovar was an offense dynamo in the KHL and came here and crumbled against the lack of room, physicality and speed of the NHL on The Isles and then Boston for about a handful of games. |

I like Aho, I'm honestly hoping they don't lose him in the expansion draft. He isn't going to be a star but I see no reason he can't be a Matt Grzelcyk kinda player. Small-ish 4-5 kind of guy that can move the puck and get some PP time eventually. |

Staple had a good article with some info on him today, nothing groundbreaking but if he's an NHL player, of any sort, then that's a good late-round find. |

Harsh.. Hopefully the kid can use it for motivation. Love the spitting chicklets interview with Stone. He said when he was drafted in the 6th round he had a coach that told him they wasted a pick. He will never make it to the NHL. - niteislander
He should fill a burlap sack full of hundred dollar bills and go smack the poop outa that coach with it. |

Holy Hell! That’s (frank)ing savage.
Now watch him thrive in Colorado. - Wildschwein
I hope he does. Pretty tough being a good goalie with that team in front of you |

I honestly thought he played OK against the Islanders, even though they pretty much got throttled every game. Always funny to see a dogpoop team give up on someone and then they go on to succeed elsewhere |

Isles need to regroup, could be good for us - Upstate_isles
They may reschedule us with another team that’s getting cancelled because of this that week also |

He played in Binghamton and the fans hated Stine and look at him now, they hated he didn't shoot on the powerplay lol |

Yeah that one wasn't so hot for them. He was good with COL though, then stunk in BUF, then was a star in STL.
Starting to maybe see a trend here - eichiefs9
Pretty much everyone that signs there or they trade for turns into a pile of crap. I guess you can say Skinner had a good year then got signed to a ridiculous contract and now he (frank)ing blows which is even worse. That team is an absolute tire fire from the top to the bottom |

Yep but with that said the Sabres are undeniably worse in the ways I’m describing. Players literally go there to die. We’ve had some excellent players that excelled and had excellent careers whether with us or other teams when we had to trade them for whatever reason. The Sabres do not for the most part. The team is so obviously toxic. They just (frank)ing suck all the way around and it never ends
But with all of that said we were a god damn joke for years as well of course |

Yeah, I can't help but think of the Mike Milbury days (daze?). He gave up on Bertuzzi who went on to have a pretty good career elsewhere. Chara was great elsewhere and is STILL playing reasonably well decades after Milbury traded him and more for Yashin ( ). |

Yashin was a good player with a bad contract that wasn’t given any opportunity to succeed. Such a waste especially with what was given up for him. |
