We had a team that had a chance year after year in the Holmgren era. They came close once and to do that they had to trade for Pronger. Not likely a player like that, a true difference maker becomes available. I want more than a chance. I want a top team and a legit contender with an open window for a significant period of time. When and if the Flyers get to that point, then I want the Flyers to make deals. You don't get to that point by making deals.

This was an utter poop show. I'm 65. Been a hockey fan since the 6 team league. Started my high school career in 1969. Yeah, I've seen it all. This was with out a doubt the single worst performance I have ever seen!!!!
I literally felt like I had been punched in the face. I turned it off after two. Was rooting for 8 or 9 more.
I've learned towards MJLs take so far. Dont do stupid stuff.
No more. I'm in on Coots, Farabee and Hart. Since the rest of the team has no heart, F U C K THEM ALL TO HELL!!

At the end of the day I feel betrayed! I've watched and rooted for them since I arrived in Bucks in 78. This was a gutless non caring performance.
I love the team. Want them to do well. Some may call me a fair weather fan. I've watched the rebuild. I've watched the games. Paid for the NHL package. When doing well, I read every word here and everything else I can find. When losing, not so much. I'll watch the games, but now in the background.

I HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO THAN WATCH THIS.
I enjoy a good game. I want them to win but this is supposed to be entertainment. I can deal with losing a good exciting game, even a loss.
I honestly can't watch this any more.

I have seen enough of the so-called "veteran leadership" on this team. I hope it is clear to everyone that strong leadership does not let a game like this happen. Sure you can have a bad game and lose 4-0, even 5-0. But no way have I ever seen a team wilt to the tune of 7 goals in ONE F***ng period! Even my high school team never had a game this bad and if we did we'd be smashing sticks over each other's heads!

I don't care how talented G, Jake, JVR or Hayes and even Couturier are, this is on them! I think the first change that needs to be made on this to define new veteran leadership for this team. I don't think much can be done now in season, but come the expansion draft and after, this team needs a completely make-over of its veteran leadership!
