If the whole season basically rests on Demko keeping up his MVP play, why not sell Sutter and the healthy half of Pearson at the TDL?

Like I said I have no idea. The timing is very coincidental and would not be the first time a team that was losing had a brawl.

The big thing for me is we are getting to see different looks now with the team. Some are good and some not so good.

Comets have played 9 games and are currently shut down. They have had to split the goal duties with ST.L

Only realistic way I could see him getting in some games is if they switch him out with Silovs in Manitoba.
Trying to get him in some games in Ottawa farm team would work also, as they are running thin on goalies, but then need a 3rd string goalie on taxi squad.

Yeah, it's more complicated this year and might require some out of the box thinking. I just don't see it as an impossible task when other guys are getting games.

I like both of your ideas. It's not like having Silovs on the taxi squad for a bit is going to ruin the franchise.

I think the Moose are more concerned about developing their own goalies.

There is no Calder Cup this year so all these games are just for getting your players some game action.

I know goalies get singled out but the fact is it is a wasted year for all prospects.

Gillies played 5 games . The difference is when St L goalie got injured and he was called up there was no 14 day quarantine . If Dipietro is playing for Comets there is the 14 day wait before he can join the team.

The practice roster(taxi squad) has better shooters.

I know they are looking to get a back up third string but every time a NHL quality back up becomes available someone higher on waiver list snags them. Look to see Houser get snapped up.

He has some speed. I think they should, they have nothing to lose.
