Now perhaps is it just me, but I feel as though those numbers are more indicative of his quality of competition and the overall team play in front of him.
Don’t get me wrong, absolutely love the guy. But to my eye he’s getting the easier outings. - Wildschwein

True. He hasn’t been a downgrade over Greiss, and that’s all I hoped for in year 1. |

That’s true.
If you look at the Isles Goaltenders during Trotz’s and Co tutelage whether it was Lehner, Greiss, Varly and now sOrOk6n all have excelled and played better than in previous years. I think this greatly has to do with the defensive structure the Islanders play under Trotz and of course Korn and his staff being here as well.
Numbers don’t lie. |

He has been disappointing letting in some pretty soft goals. I still think he can get there. |

They know that, but do you
On a serious note a lot of teams are playing a short pass from the corner or the wall to the middle ( in front of the net/slot )for a zone exit because teams are keying on the strong side wall on the forecheck. Something we would have never learned in our peewee or youth leagues. Tricky and risky but when executed it provides for a quick unobstructed zone exit. The Isles have done this a lot this year and it’s been effective. The D has benefited a lot because of this as far as zone exits and Leddy has gained a lot from this, this year imho. |

Beat the lock - Upstate_isles
Yes Sir
But just the aggressive un disciplined lock because most LWL leave the last forward high center. It’s when they are too aggressive they can exploit this. |

Should Sorokin be #1 going forward. Also I see Wahlstrom being the best player in the league soon. He will get 50 goals and over 100 points in a full season. His shot is the best I have seen in my NHL fandom. I wouldn't trade him for anyone in the current NHL. |

Uh Connor McDavid had more points than the Sabres do goals as a team tight now. Wahlstrom can rip.it but better release than say ovie, Matthew's, Laine? |

Yes for sure. Goalies dont even move when he shoots no screen just a blast at the net. The shootout goal the goalie never moved. He will be the face of the franchise in a year or two. |

When Dobson is fit to play could he go down to Bridgeport for a few games for conditioning |

Yeah I’m thinking 60 goals and 120 points for Wahlstrom next season and Vezina, Calder, and Con smythe for Sorokin this season. |

Even when I’m cross eyed drunk at 2AM, I still don’t think Lee is as good as McDavid.
Prettier, certainly. But not the better hockey player. |
