Not that I know of but the Leafs did waive another player over the weekend. I'm mostly focused on the Pearson extension, so I could have missed something. - Marwood
I just saw on Twitter the Canucks claimed Boyd.
Canucks picked up Vesey & Boyd off waivers for immediate help but also to provide cover to move guys at the deadline while the team stays in the chase - Satiar Shah

Alright, just before Carol chimes in to set the stage for tonight:
21 games remaining. Have 35 points, likely need 65(+). So need to go about 14-5-2 against:
Jets x 4
Flames x 4
Oil x 5
Leafs x 4
Sens x 4 |

There's probably a little more margin for error if they sweep both the Jets and Flames in regulation. Those 4 point games are big for their playoff hopes. |

Well, this is very exciting! Who needs the draft when you can build a team through waivers.

Jets we go 2-1-1
Flames 3-0-1
Oil - 3-2
Leafs - 2-2
Sens - 3-0-1
Tough. But doable if Demko stays lights out and EP comes back hot.

We may be on the outside looking in as far as playoffs go, but we're dominating the waiver wire. Somwhere Ruby and Minivan are rejoicing. |

Who cares about that. The important thing is are we upsetting Leafs fans? |

the saddest part is, is that these waiver pickups, are better than the majority of our bottom 6, and come at fraction of the cost. Boyd has more points in less games than:
Sutter, Gaudette, Beagle, Virtanen, Roussel, Macewen, (has one more point and one more game played than Motte), 3 less points in 13 less games than Pearson.
whats even more sad (and I just realized while looking at the stats), is that Jordie Benn has more points without seeing any PP time than any of our bottom 6 forwards. Schmidt and Myers also have more points than any of our bottom 6 forwards. |

They can get us back by picking up our fringe NHL'ers like LE

Gets even worse Codes. Waiver wire scraps don’t go to our bottom 6... they are immediately inserted into our top 6 with PP1 time. Mind boggling.
In JB we trust. |

You over look that they are good in the room, there is no price on that. Name one other bottom 6 player in the league that gets a hug from Ovechkin. |
