I call games as I see them and people disagree and sometimes I have a poop game just like a player or a team does. It's also your angle and perspective out there when you are or are not making a call and sometimes you just (frank) up a call, it happens. I've seen pro players do a poop job at it because it isn't easy and there's a ton of things going on all around you. It's similar to coaching, Gretzky was the best ever and was a terrible coach yet guys that had a cup of coffee in the show are great coaches. I was amazed when I started how difficult it was and how good you need to be positionally to see the play and stay out of it too
For the record I get mad at the refs on my kids games when they don't know the rules although they are learning at that age like the kids and I get pissed at the refs in games at the NHL level too. It's a thankless job thats a lot harder than people think is my point - Upstate_isles
I get all of this and appreciate what you’re saying and don’t disagree but let’s not make pretend that every, single, ref in the NHL isn’t doing exactly what Peel did every, single, game. It’s not always them missing something or having a different perspective they’re purposely not calling penalties, holding grudges, and clearly have bias. There’s no dolling that shat pancake up you can say whatever you want |

So you don't like Hall for Sororkin?? - Vukota
Where did you see that stupidity? Let me guess the Sabres thread where one poster said Wahlstrom, a first, and “plus” OR replace Wahlstrom with Dobson. |

That thread is where you will find the stupidest trade proposals. For such a strong hockey market there is some seriously stupid shat that circulates on that thread daily. |

The stronger the market, the dumber the fan base. Take the Maple Leafs for example. |

Those threads are 1 and 2 on the you know what list. There are of course sensible posters on both but the VAST majority are complete, total, morons that think they are super geniuses. |
