If they do nothing else but get rid of Gustafson is be ok. He just had a chance to hit a Devil behind his net to take him out of the play but he simply backs off and takes a leisurely skate. My god he's A dog.

He did do a good job drafting..but unfortunately he wasn’t the head scout...he was the GM...there’s more to being a GM then drafting good prospects....after you draft them , player development is just as important. You also have to balance that with attempting to win a Stanley cup eventually. The only issue I have with Hextall being fired is that it didn’t happen sooner. I’m just not certain that his replacement is any better.

Hextall's drafting was not overrated, I mean his drafting of Patrick was a pure stroke of genius!

Remember when the players would have a closed door meeting during the numerous times the team would underperform for long stretches? They can’t even pretend to care enough to even have one.

Next year “the core” will figure it out...or the year after that or the year after that. Whatever we do let’s make sure we don’t lose one of these valuable players in the expansion draft by actually getting some better players and trying to win this year.

Our PA tax dollars 35 million or so went to that arena and their damned Casino financing for the arena fell through. Im still pissed about that. They should have let them move to Kansas City and play in the West. And taken Permanti Bros chain with them..nothing more obscene in food than putting the french fries in the sandwich
