A decent back-up goalie at a good price makes sense. Quick does not. Rather send NJ a 6th rounder for Dell now that their other goalies are healthy again.
If you have to negotiate expensive cap space for a star player or difference maker, then find a guy who can play Jake Muzzin minutes if he gets injured again. His poorly timed injury gave Columbus the play-in series last year.
If Dubas can manage it...a guy who can play the Hyman/Simmons type role for 15 minutes a night would be ideal.
