Has any team given up 16 goals against from the same team in back to back games? Or is that a record?

Its WAY TOO early to make this judgement on Hart. I mean the kid is proven winner and had a good season last year. This year has been a disaster but there are a lot of extraneous circumstances. I think we need to give him more time. Provorov is what he is and unfortunately he is not as good as we had hoped. But with a better team and defensive partner, I think Provorov will be fine in the top 4.

He literally offers nothing at this point in his career. He’s scared for contact, he’s floats, and he a defensive liability. On top of that he’s not done anything offensively. They just aren’t a good enough team to be playing him right now.

So we've got Morin, Patrick and Rubstov first round busts.

That is 2013, 2016, and 2017. 3 misses in 5 years is brutal. Not to mention 2014 Sanheim is looking less than stellar at the moment.

Honestly, it is hard to have a discussion when a dude interprets a straight forward comment about wishing-to-lose-but-lose-small as something about compete levels (which it has nothing to do with), misses the reason I clearly provided for my desire (distaste for masochism), adds some gratuitous nonsense (about liberals and personal compete levels etc.) and then merrily rambles on.

Patrick is the least of the flyers problems. Sitting him a game or two here and there ok but he needs to play.
Imo he is still an unknown. He can be a NHL player without a doubt. The question is to what level.
He is the perfect example of having top notch player development in an organization.
The flyers need to do what it takes for Patrick to realize his potential.
Maybe he gets there maybe not. Trading him doesn’t get anything at this point so may as well continue with development.
