It was a play that happens constantly in the game. Myers just gave him a little shove and the Rangers player accentuated it. It's a bad call. Especially when Smith punch Konecny right in the face and draws blood. In a scrum right in front of the net in plain view of the officials with no call.

They let 3 calls in a row go...but because the Flyers had a 2 man advantage they weren’t called...then yes a make up call.

He has played remarkably well. I really like what I'm seeing from him. Still can't figure out why they switched him to wing. He looked completely lost with no future at that position. Looks like he has an NHL future playing defense.

It’s strange. When he announced he made the switch he said it was his best chance to fast track his way to NHL roster spot. Which tells us our management and Co were confident in our group of dmen. Having said that, I don’t think anyone saw all of the young dmen regressing like this.
