I've been very interested in Q Anon lately, just how messed up the whole thing is and the level that people buy into it. I've watched a lot of videos and read articles describing the slow pull down the gravitational black hole, how people get hooked on a fairly moral point ("You don't want kids being hurt, do you?"), and from there it's one small step to the next idea and one small step and so forth. Basically, the internet has been the dry tinder, and all the time people have had with lockdown and the pandemic has been the match.
The internet has really helped democratize and empower these fringe ideas. It's interesting (and scary) when you see the same tactics being used to radicalize religious zealots as you do Q Anon and incel guys in North America. - NewYorkNuck
Yeah the Qanon stuff is batpoop, I had heard the name so much but never looked into it until recently, just wild how much mileage people can get out of their imaginations and egos.
There are some great tracks on it to be sure. Sad but true as well as Wherever I may Roam. Enter Sandman is what it is even Bob Rock has commented that the track was made for radio. But regardless of selling out to get on the radio you can't really fault them for that, Arena Rock was dying a quick death in the late 80's and early 90's so they did what they needed to do to stay relevant. I do like Nothing Else Matters and Unforgiven too as I play them on the acoustic a lot. More radio tracks but better in the nature that Enter Sandman was. Really...only half the album was a sellout technically lol
