Thanks Carol.
It’s an absolute joke that hockey is cancelled because one player caught the flu. It’s bad enough that there aren’t fans in the building. All of these restrictions and lockdown are purely political postering at this point. It’s unacceptable and Trudeau, Bonnie etc need to held accountable for their actions. It’s inexcusable that all restrictions haven’t been lifted at this point.
Pleased with the Demko deal. It’s very risky but the type of risk the club needs to take at this point. I anticipate surplus value in a few years when they hopefully are contenders - CanuckDon
Now you're starting to get it. If too many people feel that way at once there's no more room at the hospital and people start dying in the lobby. - golfingsince
Lol. I understand dude. Hospitals in BC are empty. It’s incredibly rare for a healthy person to end up in ICU. Hence empty hospitals. Of you aren’t healthy, stay home until you receive your vaccine

Oh it’s a bad flu for sure. I just don’t agree with the governments approach. Immune compromised should isolate until they get a vaccine. The flu should run through the healthy subsection of the population that is still required to work. I had no issues with the measures taken early in the pandemic but once the vaccine was available the approach should have changed - CanuckDon

I keep hearing people pushing that hospitals are empty everywhere. Oddly enough, all the health care workers I know say otherwise. I had to go to ER in the fall for something totally unrelated and I waited 71/2 hours to see someone.

My buddy is an ER doctor and he is bored as (frank). My nurse friends are saying the same thing 🤷♂️ Perhaps the truth is somewhere in the middle

Well if you can’t breathe you should definitely head to the hospital - CanuckDon
This was just me, I'm 6'5, 220 Lbs, in great shape for my age. That to me was the worst thing, unlike ANY Flu. I came very close to calling an ambulance.

Well glad you are ok. Are you sure it wasn’t your clamidia though?
My buddy had it and went to the hospital with shortness of breath. They told him to go home as it was just anxiety. I’m sure that’s not you as this guy is a p$ssy. The brain can play tricks on you.

That was normal for emergency before covid

Covid isn't even that bad here but the wait time has gone up several hours. They have separate entrances at the hospitals for suspected covid patients and drive thru testing clinics.
I guess my point is that with an already overburdened health care system we really don't need to add more fuel to the fire.
I’m going bowling...yes indoor lanes are open. But you can’t grab a beer or soda. That’s the dangerous part. LMFAO she is a twit - CanuckDon
Nothing more than a political puppet.
Have too many friends that had their restaurants or brewery shut down. They spent extra money to be covid safe only to get kicked in the nuts again.
No I’m just not weak buddy. Stay home if you are immune compromised. Get vaccinated - CanuckDon
Or if everyone stayed home for a couple weeks last year you wouldn't have nearly as much to complain about today... I have the freedom to go where I want and do pretty much any regular activity because we have no cases here. Beyond wearing a mask in common areas at work and when I buy groceries not a lot has changed for me.
I think the anger towards the government is misdirected and should be placed on the idiots who keep spreading it.

Totally. It’s criminal what restaurant owners are going through. Purely political
