Was just saying the same thing to the wife. Wondered aloud if by playoff time he might be the guy. He really seems to have adapted to the NHL rather fast. He gets the importance of positioning in traffic more, which is so much more important in the NHL game. Korn amd Varly have clearly helped him.

Its hard to get too worked about it because he’s had a good season but that led to a 2-on-1 the other way and you give up a goal there right with :10 left on the clock, that’s a backbreaker. He had a clear shot, he needs to take it.

I think he’ll get there and be our starter but he still has some work to do imo. His rebound control is still subpar and that will ALWAYS bite him in the arse in the NHL. Like I said he will get there but he has some work to do imo.

Agreed on all counts. I’m hoping these streaky guys like Ebs and Beauvillier save some mojo for the playoffs...

Gotta give Hart a little credit. We don’t have a lot of shots, but we’ve clearly had the better chances and he’s stepped up, especially his glove hand. He had no chance on either goal.
