You know it's a rough day for #NYR Twitter when all I've done is post the lines (which I don't pick) and listed some stats (with no opinion) and I'm *still* being called all kinds of names.
I'm cool with being your punching bag. I just feel bad for how angry some people are. - jimbro83
Haha that’s great, so typical. Vince does stir the pot though. If I’m not mistaken he’s usually the one who asks Quinn directly about the kids ice time during the post game pressers.

Twatter is such a cesspool that I want no part of.
Boston has a REAL problem scoring goals and they are looking for wingers as the trading deadline approaches.
Question: Since the Rangers have a bit of history as trading partners, how do we feel about sending Buch to Boston in a deal? Or do we not want to help the enemy?? - TommyGTrain
Right or Wrong, No way NYR trading w/ Boston this year, since they are in same division and they are the team NYR is chasing for a playoff spot
lol. I see what you're doing there!!
I just think that the beauty of what Blackwell has been doing for us is that it comes from the bottom 6. When you move him up, how does that help the depth of scoring that was benefitting us? - Tonybere
He's been great in the bottom 6, which is where he'd be playing on any contender. I'm not sure what moving him up is going to do except weaken the bottom 6 unless they think he's going to be the Jesper Fast of that line and give Strome and Panarin space but based on the last 10 games or so, those guys have all the help they need they've both played extremely well.
Have to sweep this week, and even though Boston has 3 games in hand, if we sweep the last 2 against them that will take care of most of that.

Ugh. Bos/Philly tonight. What do we hope for there? Marchand suspension after a hit injuring Provorov?
Firsty just want to get this straight. Im not willing to trade Strome just for the sake of trading Strome. Its gotta be someone who has some offensive chops, but is strong in the defensive game. Also, personally, I feel its more important to replace Chytil. Swap him for a future stud to take over the 2C for Strome. I can deal with Strome at 2C for the remaining time, but our 3C and 4C have to bonafide successors. Chytil isnt it.
“What I’m getting at is, that it’s time. That doesn’t mean throwing in the towel. It means chasing the real mission statement. Time to not go to the whip to win games, time to get some of these young players more ice time, to play for the future. Time, perhaps, to get Morgan Barron up here when the roster limits disappear after the deadline.”
Hard not to agree. Especially depending how the next few games go.
how about we just let him ride out rest of this year and next year and see what happens - jimbro83
I agree. I do not think there is any rush to sign Strome. Keep the options open if a legit upgrade is available that doesn't compromise the rebuild.
There is such a thing as over-tinkering a lineup. Let's not seek trades for the sake of trading or seeking a greener pastor that does not exist. I am not convinced the Rangers need to be sellers or do that much just yet. Wait until the draft and re-evaluate. I think people get too itchy sometimes. They can't tell the difference between anxiety and their crabs.
