They have scored a few goals here and there and somewhat look dangerous on the rush and transition. But don't be fooled because remember, Quinn needs to be fired and the kids traded, Strome is trash and Panarin is the worst singing in Rangers history.
Never forget we need to trade Fox for Ghost. - NYRCeph
Strome really pissed me off in that Buffalo game where he overpassed on the powerplay
learned his lesson last night though, same exact circumstance, same exact spot on the ice, he shoots and scores
GO FIGURE!

Since St Patrick's Day (March 17th), Adam Fox leads all skaters in the league in points.
That's right. That's all skaters, not just among defensemen #NYR |

If we make the playoffs, he should be slam dunk for the Norris. If we miss, he should probably give it to him as well, but I could see them snubbing him.

Yep. And while I’m not advocating for VK to be playing on the 4th line, he played well positionally and brought a little offensive threat to their play.
He shouldn’t come out of the line up very often. - Tonybere
You figure when the Blackwell showcase ends, Kravtsov will be the 2nd line RW. I hope they keep the kid line together, let them build some chemistry |

Leave it be. Burkie lives in black and white thinking world. There is no middle ground. I.E. If Panarin doesn't win the Rangers the Stanley Cup right now, then it was a terrible signing. That's all he sees. There is no discussion with that type of thinker. Then he just like to push buttons. His opinion is his opinion, albeit a very rigid thinking one. |

The man doesn't even try to do more than he does every single game. That's how good he is. Literally every game is a mirror of the last in his play. He is becoming the Hank on our Dman. Just steady and consistent and we have no worries about that position. Oh we are going to be spoiled again. |

Panarin has 135 points in 96 games as a Ranger. That is McDavid level production. It is mind bogging how you could hate on it still. It really doesn't make sense to me. - TPC
I dont hate on him at all. Matter of fact, Im appreciating him more. His production is off the charts and is surpassing what his career production average is. Problem is having a superstar player doesnt mean you will win anything, case in Point McDavid. Playoffs would be nice, it will be a challenge to get there. Anything can happen in the playoffs. If the Rangers go 13 and 5 and the Bruins go 10 and 10 we would make the playoffs. Tall order but it might be doable. People are saying the Bruin games against Buffalo will be easy, but Buffalo has won 3 out of their last 4, maybe gaining some confidence, might make those games against the Bruins interesting. |

Yep. He is enough to make a grown man giddy!
Love that Lindgren is 4th on the blue line with (I believe) 19:45 TOI per game and the only guy older than him playing more is Trouba. So. You want to match lines? G'head.
And has anyone noticed the effect Fox has had on Smitty's puckhandling? lol
He may not bring the same results, but he is (frank)ing up attacking players with plays that a 3rd pairing guy isn't supposed to be trying! |

Why I have no issue bringing Smith back as a 6-7th if he wants to stay for cheap. |

No. It has everything to do with you continually coming on here to spout your opinions that make no sense to a group that you know disagrees with you.
I'm a terrific person, thank you.
I just don't care to be nice to someone that seems to like being controversial simply to annoy. |

You have to admit though, any contending team needs one or two of those guys on it. In the past decade who is the "worst" player to be the team's best player? Pietrangelo? You need hall of fame level talent to win a cup. Yeah, not all of those guys will wind up winning, but as we learned the hard way, you cannot win with good but not great talent, and even our contending teams had a top 10 at minimum all time goaltender.

Having Panarin doesn't help with the playoff efforts? When we make the playoffs, would you rather have Panarin or not? Simple questions.
It's okay to say you're wrong about something. Doesn't make you any less of a person. |

I did a search for Brukie, hockeybuzz, Rangers sign Panarin
I found a gem where Brukie predicted Panarin would hurt the Rangers draft position

I would get behind your argument more if you discussed your opinions on how to build the Rangers team into a championship team, however, you come here and say a singular negation argument that Panarin was a bad signing. Then you go to say a team cannot win a championship with just 1-2 superstar players. Well, you are confusing. Because you make the argument that you need a complete team to win, which I agree 100%, and then go on to focus on how signing a superstar was a bad idea. Well correct me if I am wrong, but a complete team has superstars, middle 6 scoring and grinders/forecheckers on the front end.
So...how do the Rangers build a Championship team around our superstar players? That's the opinions I am curious to hear from you. |
