What's the score? Covid 14 Canucks 0 - A_SteamingLombardi
Hoglander added from yesterday's tests
1 more player added from today's (to be named tomorrow)
I think the total (player, taxi squad, and coaches), is now at 23. |

Colorado's Kyle Burroughs did a pretty good job of laying a beating on Wild's Foligno. |

Canucks need to start playing some games here. They are rising in the points percentage standings.
Going to be drafting in 10th again. Staying in mediocrity then.

Called that poop. Ian Clark's resume speaks for itself.
Let’s follow the Ian Clark timeline
- Builds Bobrovsky into Vezina calibre goalie in CBJ
- Bobrovsky’s game falls apart away from Clark
- Markstrom flourishes as top-5 G
- Markstrom early struggles without Clark
- Demko breaks out
Seems like he should be a priority |

I read that as well
Whoever Ian clarke is training with, he makes a top 10 goalie. Canucks should 100% prioritize signing him. |

Kevin Woodly thinks that because he (and all the coaching staff) have been allowed to wind down without contract offers that Clark will be gone. Basically that it’s too late now.
This is based only on the past - when Clark has moved on in similar situations. |

But dropping in the actual standings. I wonder if it is even possible to finish top ten still? |

Ya, I've seen that as well. I just think, based on track record, it's completely idiotic not to keep him (assuming he'd be up for staying). A top 10 goalie makes a team a playoff contender... why not pay for a guy who consistently produces that kind of player? |

Maybe the GM isn’t allowed to make that decision? Who knows what goes on there. |

It is disappointing how the season has unfolded.
They are .100 points less than I thought they would be.
They still wouldn't be in a playoff spot.
6 days till the deadline. |

Checking out some of the top D vids this morning.
Powers, Clarke, Hughes, Lambos.
Clarke being the only right hander there. I highly doubt that he is going to fill a need for Van on defence.
/Cam Robinson/ is on spring break

Film Room: Why Brandt Clarke is the Top Prospect in the 2021 Class
@EPRinkside
• In-depth video and analysis
• Q&A with Clarke
• Quotes from NHL scouts and Executives
Cam Robinson thinks he is a "the top prospect" in the 2021 class. Would probably mean he's not very good defensively and soft. |

Oilers options at center
Kurt Leavins of the Edmonton Journal: The Edmonton Oilers might have had some interest in Vancouver Canucks center Brandon Sutter. Sutter is now on the NHL COVID protocol absence list. |

Any of the 4 would be great, but assuming Van doesn't win the lottery, Lambos is probably the best option. |

Van doesn't really need another top end LHD unless he is a big, physical minute munching defender.
Powers and Hughes fit the bill more. Lambos would be a nice consolation prize but I wouldn't be picking him in the top 10.
Kent Johnson and Dylan Guenther is they somehow fell to 8 or later would be absolute spectacular steals for Van. |
