Yeah.
Same.
It's weird, but i have almost zero interest in the rest of the league right now, outside of watching Calgary implode and Buffalo flounder. - dbot
F1 is back on, MotoGP is back on, I've been watching the Six Nations Tournament the last 5 weeks, and there was an Invitational Rugby 7s tournament in the Emirates over the weekend, a warm up for the Olympics and to top it off the Canadian Women won the gold, soooooo (frank) hockey.
Speculation...
14 days from today is the earliest return to play, 20th April
Season ends on 11th May (21 days from return)
Last game was on 24th March (4 weeks idle)
19 games remaining in 21 days
We thought the start to the season was rough, imagine how bad this could be!!
Obviously we don’t know the timing of a return to play, but this is ugly and I don’t see how the Canucks can fairly compete in the remaining games. Better for everyone to pull the plug and let the rest of the league carry on, with appropriate satefy measures.

TV needs games. Less games must give money back. Let's hope everyone recovers well.
But hey if they play into mid May maybe they can get Podz over to play with Petey. Just have to get around that Worlds tourney thingy.
They keep throwing in the disclaimer about how they may just be a close contact. Let's get real, anyone who is now placed on covid protocol, has tested positive.
Dr. Bonnie NOT aware of any Canuck players being infected with variant, not sure where that rumor came from. - 1970vintage
To be fair, there are just too many cases right now, I doubt she is treating the canuck outbreak any different than any other outbreak in BC. Variants are popping up all over BC, I doubt she's taking particular notice of this one.
