Komarov being some defensive stalwart is just as ridiculously stupid as saying the same about Bailey. It’s just not true. The guy makes some decent defensive plays like most hockey players and some really terrible ones at in opportune times as well. He’s terrible I think it’s hysterical that anyone would debate this. I mean wtf were we thinking? We should have had him on the first line all along!!!!

This is the most accurate statement I have read on here in a while. Drives me nuts that they talk about these 2 like they are Selke candidates. Both of them do the same sht.. they are technically where they are supposed to be, but neither of them engage on defense... neither show any desperation to get the puck out of the zone. They are both friggin maddening to watch.

Leo put the top line to sleep and is getting credit for helping them be better defensively? Even in the one break out game where his linemates had 9 points he had 1 assist.. how is that even possible?

The best the top line has looked in months is when Uncle dipsht lost his helmet and Beau took his place. scored immediately. Beau should be on this line. He is great in the corners, has the speed, and the effort on Defense every shift.

That’s the reason Lee’s on it. Makes a lot of room for his line mates the way he wins the puck and holds it in the corners. On top of being a monster in front of the net. Line has good balance.
