Do you like body checking?
- paulr

Absolutely. I guess you don't like my point but that's okay.

Maybe Colliton thought the best D is puck possession?
- paulr

They have been out there all year in the final minute protecting the lead. And what is their record when leading going into the third period.

Only saw the final 5 mins. Great win. How did Hino look?

Just as you would expect. Fast, a pest, effective on the forecheck and back check. got himself a nice apple on Kubalik's goal. Effective player tonight.

Vinnie couldn’t play like Hossa even in his dreams.

i thought strome look pretty good for him, he was involved in a few high end scoring chances. what has been up with soderberg? has he been scratched the last few games? I assume there is no trade value for him if we are scratching him. janmark jhas kind of come back to earth. not sure we make any trades. other then taking on some dead money.

Fair enough. I just thought it odd considering the previous shift and situation.

Stop questioning my mediocre logic!!

I don’t dislike your point, I disagree with it. I’d agree if Kane was hit with a cheap shot or dirty hit. He wasn’t! He has possession of the puck when he was hit. Benn hit him hard but cleanly. Big deal? It’s part of the game

Kalynuk is really growing on me, he really is keeping things simple and smart. Brings some stability being paired with deHaan

Nope but almost no one will. Be great on the 3rd line as a winger version of Bolland tho only quicker. Know your role kid and do it well - you’ll be a star!

I thought the same, he’s looked decent the last couple of games. As far as Soderberg, yes he has some value, so does Janmark, one if not both of them will be gone by Monday, probably picks coming back, maybe a third or so for each.

Let’s hope the rest of the teams in need think so and sell high!

He has made de Haan almost look serviceable.

FFS. Vinnie was a 6th round choice who probably will play at least 300 games in the NHL. He already has beat the odds.

I am ready to move on from both. I mean, if Janmark wants a 2-3 deal at what is making now? He can be useful. Any more and he out kicks his coverage.

He has actually looked better the last couple of games as well, maybe we get lucky and he’s gone by Monday, one can only hope.

Just FYI
Both high draft choices.
I was wondering if Dylan would outscore his brother

Gladly do a sign and trade for Hall. Put him oppo Kane with a two way center not named Dach and you have yourself an elite scoring line on a Cup contender ladies. Bump Kitty to the Dach line with Kubes or another star RW? Contend legitimately in 2022 bumholes!

Hall? God no. He would never work with Kane. He is gonna be 30 and UFA forwards at that age rarely work out well. Hossa being the exception but even Hossa wasn't the scorer with the Hawks as he was earlier in his career. Hall is nowhere near the 2 way player Hoss was.

Plus, Hall is just an injury waiting to happen.

I hope the Hawks have a quiet TDL. They can jettison Janmark, Soderberg and Kubalik for some mid-round picks.
