That's right, he alone is not enough, but actually having a legitimate top 4 Dman on this team would be a step in the right direction. - jd250
The best team in the NHL this season has a second line that were entirely players acquired through trades. (Colorado)...none of which are old guys brought in by giving up their youth...I know crazy eh! ....there are different ways to build a club. The Flyers are lucky to have some good young players and prospects, but that shouldn’t mean they don’t explore every avenue at their disposal. It’s not like the current plan has worked. |

Except it isnt realistic. Chances have lowered but it isnt over.
Whats realistic is knowing their chances are low but its not impossible to make it. - xShoot4WarAmpsx

Looking at the standings it would seem Dallas could be a team to deal with this summer as they’ve got some d depth. I still like Klingberg as a possible top 4 addition. |

Is he 1st, 2nd, or 3rd line player? No, he's a very good 4th line player and I haven't seen anyone else called up that does what he does. It's not so precious, his contract is minimal. As I said. he is not the issue. You need to look at the top 3 lines and figure them out first.
Having said that, if he's traded I would have no problem with that. - RustyPipes
Raffl played on a line tonight with Farabee and NAK and generated nothing all game. At one point Raffl was a nice piece on this team, but not anymore.

True. But at least he shows up ready to play more often than a lot of these guys. |

Honestly the info has been out for a while now. Imo if people have the chance they should just get it and be done with it so we can get this behind us. - hereticpride
It wasn’t on my mind until I heard the three clowns begging for people to get the jab.
If you don’t know by now then I’m pretty sure your not tuning in to a hockey broadcast. |

Where were you when Couturier scored the game tying goal in the 3rd period last night? - MJL
Not wasting my time watching poopty flyers. Like millions upon millions of people I was watching ncaa championship game. Unlike the couple thousand dummies wasting their time on dumb ass hockey |

Speaking of NAK I hope we’ve seen the last of him. We have the 29th ranked PK and the dude just cannot stay out of the box. |

Mock draft time! I’m not blaming the referees for the loss but the Moron roughing call was horrible. Makes you wonder how those betting apps factor in these days. Bad calls or not when you give up a shorthand goal in the 3rd period of a 2-2 game you are bound to lose. |

Any of you old enough to remember the cliche about a guy calling a girl for a date and she turns him down and says, no I'm staying home and washing my hair Saturday night.
This year once they showed who they really were, I did dishes, laundry, watched a lot of foreign WWII movies and the Australian Series Sea Patrol instead of watching the Flyers.. even old Law and Order or scifi I had seen multiple times instead of this
If I had hair I would wash it rather than watch this team.

I hear that. This team hasn’t had an exciting player probably since Ghost’s rookie year and before that the early G years. The team is just so blah to watch now. |

I posted this a few days ago, but I am going to do it again because I think its important to be realistic about the Flyers so-called talented young players:
1. Farabee - potential top 6 forward, but was delegated to the 4th line tonight in a big game
2. TK - marginal top 6 forward
3. Patrick - 4th line, honestly should be demoted to the Phantoms
4. Lindblom - marginal 3rd liner, should be playing 4th line
5. Bunnaman - 4th liner, demoted to the Phantoms
6. Aube Kubel - 4th liner
7. Travis Sanheim - bottom pairing D
8. Phillippe Myers - bottom pairing D
9. Linus Sandin - taxi Squad
10. Tanner Laczynski - taxi squad
11. Carsen Twarynski - demoted to Phantoms
Now there are players with potential on the Phantoms and in the system, and we will have to wait and see what happens with Frost, but this is the reality of where our young talent is right now. Not pretty. |

Their second line feeds off their first. How many guys on that first line were not top 10 picks, eh? |

Are you really that not smart... coots couldn’t hold Bergy’s jock strap. Surely I need to watch coots score a game tying goal Monday so I can comment “this is what a #1 center looks like”. Maybe idk I’ll just look at the Stanley cup banner that Bergy got. You really are a tool to put it nicely |
