I hope you didn't misspell log.
One john is the head of the biggest gang. He looks like Einstein after 10 drinks and 100 more pounds.
Before the act, it is important for him to convince his regular that he loves her. You dont, she says. Its only lust. No, he insists. He gets emotional, and so does she. Then they have wild cowgirl sex (thankfully, you dont get to see overweight Einstein in this phase). Around them are other cells, where similar activity is going on.
The viewer would have to be down with such absurdity, suddenly, in the midst of a fast tension filled plot. Else, it will not be worth it. |

Just want them to play more physically and not take a hit in the talent department. If they win the Cup because of it that’s great. - mickel25

Rather non specific. My hopeful core is Coots Patrick Frost down the middle. Tk lindblom Bee allison Wisdom Foerster. York provy myers sanheim. Hart errson. In a perfect world thats a high performing top 9 top 4 and goaltending. Highly doubt we get a perfect world. - Tfaehner
Your core sounds like the entire apple except the old parts and Scottie. Why guys like Wisdom, who may never be a NHL player, over a proven mid 6 guy like Laughton? |

Quite simple. When you say cup contender I dont see us getting there for closer to 5 years with a young core. Guys like hayes giroux laughton who are good hockey players I dont expect to still be around. If were saying we will wait for growth over supplementing with acquisitions to contend sooner. |

As an aside. I dont expect that core to come to fruition. And I favor a balance of growth plus making key acquisitions. |

Boston will come out fiery today. That might have been part of the reason Marchand was stirring things up, to set the tone. They played a listless game yesterday. Probably took us for granted. Wont happen today. Should be fun to see. |

Actual rumor but one based on three huge assumptions:
1) The Blue Jackets can't get him to agree to an extension this offseason and do not want to risk another Panarin and Bobrovsky situation of him walking for nothing in the 2022 offseason.
2) He would be more agreeable to an extension here rather than testing the market.
3) The Flyers would offer the best trade package among teams that would put in offers.
That's a whole lot of ifs before something like that would be realistic. And just how much would have to go back the other way? A lot. |

i don't see that being the case, them taking the flyers for granted i mean. they look at the standings and know the flyers are right behind them, and that these games are important.
i do agree they should come out fiery though. |

But what are the Flyers able to offer?
Realistically they need 2 D-Man + they are just wasting their time with Play Off this year.
What are the chances for Raffl/Laughton being traded as Combo ?

Hayes has a NMC. Where is he going? And Scottie is only 26. Why dont you think he can hang around? Likely not worth the promise to $ ratio?
More to the point, the problem with our core definition is that it is based on optimism rather than demonstrated promise. We have seen some ups and downs from everyone, but other than Hart, of all the ones you mentioned, there is no one I would not move for Seth Jones. |

If they added a Scott Hartnell type I would be cool with that. - mickel25
I kinda feel like Hartnell was a big reason our core never got anywhere. He seemed like just the right combo of power forward, spirited, complementary...but really was he ever any good? Lots of falling down,
Lots of penalties at inopportune times. And he certainly bores me to tears as an analyst. |

It is non specific. No one has any idea which young players are going to turn out to be good enough to make up the core. Nobody knows how Frost, Brink, York, Foerster, Zamula or any of the other players are going to turn out. Is Myers going to reach his potential? We don't know. Of course all of them are not going to pan out.

I threw it out there for discussion since it looks more and more like Fletch will look to offseason moves, considering that teams will not be able to keep excellent players because of the flat cap... And we have a history of trading with Columbus.

Drafting is not an exact science. It is always part optimism. Same for every team. if you move Provorov for Jones, what is the sense? . If the Flyers have to trade Couturier for Jones, what is the sense? The idea is to build a good team.

Right now, moving forward its Couturier, Giroux and the young players coming up and with the team now. As well as any other players they draft who make the grade in the future. - MJL
AV last night in his presser specifically mentioned that Giroux has been his most consistent player, and has demonstrated leadership by setting good example on and off the ice. He also mentioned he hopes others on the team follow suit. This was a very important and in some way a bombshell statement, because it clearly is calling out those on the team who are not following Giroux's lead. I think this is another indication of dysfunction on the locker room right now.

Depends on where the pick is. I don't think they'd get a first for Laughton.
