But on a serious note. What do you think about it? I think the Islanders are going to be a nightmare in the playoffs, especially if they add another piece.

I love the trade. They still have some money to play with, although I don't see them using it, and the roster really doesn't have any big weak spots anywhere. Maybe the ceiling isn't as high as other teams but the Islanders can roll four lines without really having a whole lot to worry about (on paper). '21 firsts are going to be a total crapshoot so giving that up wasn't a big deal. Jobst/Greer are probably, at best, AHL/NHL tweeners so including them was a non-issue.

Apparently Zajac will be centering Bailey and Palmieri tonight so one of the centers is getting moved to wing. Guessing maybe they throw Nelson up with Barzal? No clue, but I thought it was a great trade.

What are the chances it’s Colorado involved? That team is basically perfect minus a solid backup. Granted he hasn’t been that this year, but the prior years he certainly was for us.

Newhook is obviously part of their future, but how high are they on a guy like Shane Bowers? We’d need to add, but how much?
