I don't know if I'd say "fleeced", it was a relatively fair deal. Maybe the Islanders "won" the trade, but I don't think it was in a landslide. But yea - I had no interest in Hall whatsoever, he wouldn't have fit with the group the Isles have. Palmieri was the guy I wanted all along. Zajac should be a nice bottom-six piece too.

What are the chances it’s Colorado involved? That team is basically perfect minus a solid backup. Granted he hasn’t been that this year, but the prior years he certainly was for us.

Newhook is obviously part of their future, but how high are they on a guy like Shane Bowers? We’d need to add, but how much?

I just don't see Colorado being good trading partners with the Rangers for a young center. Newhook is being groomed with the hope that he can replace Kadri in the future. They don't need young defensemen so just offering a back up goalie won't get us far with them.

Dude. I feel for you. This is what it has to be like for lots in Toronto, as well. And we are back into a 4 week Stay At Home order in Ontario again as of today.
I relish the fact that my house is 2300 sq-ft and our yard is 300' deep with a coupld dozen trees. We can't go anywhere, but we can sit in the backyard, play catch, etc...

Some really bizarre experiences at that time. My gf had torn her ACL two weeks before NYC went into "lockdown". She didn't leave the fancy shoebox for two and a half weeks because she couldn't walk down four flights of stairs. She was standing by the window for the 30 minutes the sun hit our place to get the feeling she was outside

Needless to say, when we finally escaped for the burbs come mid-April, we were changed people - haha. Only time we went back to that place was to move out. But damn, I do miss it. Just served a totally different purpose when we were barely home.

That is rough. Like Tony said, I was fortunate not to experience too much hardship. I know a lot of people had some rough spells. My whole family just got Covid in the past couple weeks. So there is always room for gratitude no matter what. No matter were you are. I don't know about you guys, but normalcy is all I want. And the Rangers winning.
