What kind of rationale is that? It's Blowman. Of course he lost the trade! - HawkintheD
Thanks for keeping me in line ... so much schooling & it does me no good. |

That's a tough question...probably...but with their own unique traits though...like Polar bears vs brown bears...their still bears. |

let's take it slow - first make sure he can play as nhler with vision and IQ....
I went back and found my profile Finn Centre
Second year eligible Finnish centre is big slick stick-handler who needs to work to further strengthen his lower body in order to add power and speed to his skating. He has good skills and vision, but little consistency. Needs to be better away from the puck, and continue to grow his offensive side. Displays some really good dangle in his possession skills but has trouble deciding what the read is and can look bad when things go south in transistion. Committed to Denver University where the team who selects him will expect to see upside. - wiz1901
I was referring to Stillman wiz. |

On that two on one Hagel said to himself "I'm not giving it to Kampf" and instead passed to Z who was trailing the play. - boilermaker100
I don't blame him in one bit. The over-under on David Kemp's point total for the year has got to be between 5 and 10. |

Epically bad call leads to epically bad turnover from big Z and a terrible goal to give up

ADB really needs to realize when he can or cannot make passes on the blue line. |

Connolly had a couple of good years with WSH. Scored 20 gals once. 3rd line winger type. Salary dump by Florida. Maybe the Hawks trade him or lose him to Seattle. - boilermaker100
Stillman- defensive defenseman. Has some NHL experience. Some upside. Don't know if he can play JC's man to man system. Probably not. - boilermaker100 ?
He has seen little NHL so far as he was up one year for one game, two years ago in a very limited fashion he saw 34 games, and this year 8 games. (I really think until the hubbub about Yandle's possible streak ending to benching, Stillman I believe was gonna be given a chance to fill a role on their backend.)
- boilermaker100Nikki Borgstrom played a few years in North America in the Florida system, then went back home to play in Finland this year. He played at Denver University with Mitchell where the Hawks staff saw him and were impressed with his play..
If 58 NHL games is a few years because they were in a few season then this can be partially accurate.
According to this board he is either the next Victor Ejdsell or the next Lukas Reichel. - boilermaker100
Yeah I don't think his play is like either player. (I know, a joke) Reichel has an instinct and feel fro where things go and has improved his defensive zone work. Nikki is better in the dot, and has good hands and stick, some jiggle and dangle, but I think the big leagues hurt his confidence and that he wasn't;t handed a pivot, like the Habs did Jesperi Kotkaniemi and Blackhawks did Dach.
Remember they had Vinnie Trocheck an few other guys that pushed Nikki to the win g where he really didn't look good, because he is a centre. |

Z is there for the same reason the Blackhawks traded Doug Wilson PP and dee partner Doug Crossman for Behn Wilson, to retaliate, hurt and intimidate, not be Hedman.
Losing Crossman for a policeman b basically weakened the Hawk PP severely.

From my perspective on the couch, i would be playing Kalynuk more minutes than deHaan and Z. Wasn't that 4 on 4 hockey with big Z and deHaan on the ice, smh |

Spot On....and just wondering where we'd be if we had Toews and Nystrom ( yes Nystrom) instead of Kampf and Carpenter ?
