We can draft a center 🥰🎉 - CanuckDon
Since we have 5, perhaps it might be a good idea to draft D! |

They are also about to have a good shot at a cup run, doubt they trade their depth away. - neem55
Fleury is being held out of the lineup tonight in case of a potential trade, as per LeBrun |

What does Brackett have to do with anything?
I dont like the line pairings, I don't like the line matching, I don't like the defensive pairings, I don't care for the time on ice deployment, I hate the power play, I don't mind the penalty kill, and I don't care for the usage of the lines in the offensive/defensive zones.
Nothing I say is from being in an echo chamber. I could care less what the group think is in here. I really don't like how the team overall plays defensive and the systems they play. What I do love, is how Ian Clarke continues to provide stable goaltending year after year. - Codes1087
I would say you have found your silver lining in a season that has gone to say horrible at best. |

Proof is in the stats/results
Markstrom was superb for us all year last year. Demko is a top 5 goalie in the league statistically right now. Markstrom is dog sh*t this year without Clarke despite supposedly having a much better team in front of him. |

Do you ever wonder why Jason Labarera had better stats the season after he left Vancouver?
What happened to Steve Mason when Ian Clarke got there?
Any idea why a young Drew Mcintyre is playing in Japan right now after being with the god Ian Clarke?
How odd that Joonas Korpisalo had his best season ever after Ian Clarke left. It's not possible. |

Perhaps you are overrating goaltending coaches. Perhaps you aren’t 🤷♂️ Marky and Demko were both stud goalie prospects |

True, but the last few years for Clark:
- Builds Bobrovsky into Vezina calibre goalie in CBJ
- Bobrovsky’s game falls apart away from Clark
- Markstrom flourishes as top-5 G
- Markstrom early struggles without Clark
- Demko breaks out
....? |

MArkstrom is the 13th and Demko 16th highest drafted goaltender in the league right now. |

Quite a bit of disparity between the goalies mentioned above and demko/markstrom, as far as talent/potential go anyway. |

Are you sure? Those goalies I mentioned were going to be elite #1 goalies before they weren't. They didn't become them under Ian Clarke's guidance.
Steve Mason won the calder, two years later Ian Clarke gets there. On year after, he is traded. |

I dont remember anyone saying or thinking any of those goalies would be elite numbers 1s. I think bobrosky is probably the only one who people had said would be an elite number 1 while with Clark. |

I won't miss a guy who doesn't want to be there. Replaceable.
Maybe they could bring back Luongo. |

Sounds like #canucks will be without Virtanen and possibly others for their first two games back. |

I probably wouldn't want to work for a franchise that hasn't recognized my work or prioritized my extension either lol |

I didn't know this but they have recalled most from the Canadian teams already. Plus Lind thanks to his nose.
Best guess, there is 33 players Van technically has in Vancouver right now. I would think they could find 20 by April 16th ready to go.
They would have to do 7 days anyways which they wouldn't arrive till tomorrow so 18th would be first day they would be ready to go. |
