Man I be bummed if they move Zadorov unless it a great deal (A) prospect and 2nd or (B) prospect and 1st .I know he is inconsistent but he still young and adds something the Hawks have not had in a long time no wonder teams like Boston and Winnipeg are looking into him I was hoping maybe Stan was changing his MO a bit getting a big hitter for a change I think the BIG fellow can still grow his game moving forward
Taking the HAWKS 6 to 1 tonight the new no D PP get's 3 Go Hawks !!!! - oldduffman
Kalynuk is very good on pp. He carries, sets up, distributes well per scouting report before he turned pro. Skates pretty good but Colliton prefers the pro players over the kid. At least get Keith off although he probably still on pp #2 unit. |

Colorado acquires Dubnyk for Pateryn and a 5th. - DarthKane
Before he closed on Dubnyk, Sakic was chasing Delia hard. Stan refused to negotiate, he wanted MacKinnon or no deal. |

The return for Savard is supposedly significant. At least a 1st from the Lightning. |

Sources have confirmed:
#Isles and #Sabres had trade in place for Taylor Hall to come to the island on Wednesday.
But the addition of Travis Zajac to the Kyle Palmieri trade sweetened the pot and Lou Lamoriello went with that. |

Sure.
Some team wants Carpentar or Highmore or DeHahn. Take each of them, please.
Sweetener beyond that
I can live without Strome. I know he has looked better recently. And I know it is widely thought Toews might not return, at least not to start next season
Alright. Take Soderberg too. We should retain Janmark for one more season. He can be traded next year at this time
There are plenty of replacements whom look like they could offer more as they move from AHL to NHL.
Some might say Strome is worthwhile. Ultimately he hurts us in playoffs when he is essentialy the same player as before. Can't skate so he looses race to the puck; in puck battles he looses anyway; and his skating helps contribute to poor defensively. If Strome were producing a lot of points as a top center but he is not and will not.
Strome can be a sweetener too if it helps to stir the drink. |

@BenPopeCST
I see David Kampf has moved up to 25th on TSN's Trade Bait board.
That aligns with what I've heard that it's possible, albeit not Janmark-level likely, that he gets traded.
Borgstrom's addition likely pushed Kampf out of a protection spot for the expansion draft. |

He has landed where he will be the remainder if his career. Not an NHL future. Which I assume is what you thought before you sarcastic intent asked me.
Look I believe that Bowman has continued to pursue a big center. Dach now Borgstrom. Borgstrom may work out; initially he caused red flags because I didn't know about his progress after he was rushed too soon in the NHL. We now have reports of his progress and development sounds encouraging. I am somewhat surprised that Florida would move a descent prospect. But he is extra to them as they have lots of strong offensive depth at forward and that [Borgstrom] is whom Bowman wanted for Carlsson
There isn't anything further to say about Ejdsell. He is slow, non physical does have some talent but he doesn't produce enough points. |
