Bruins don't really have much in terms of players I would want. Maybe Swayman but Rask and Halak are out, too. I would gladly take their 1st and 2nd from them, tho. Maybe the Finn D prospect Urho Vaakaneinen, too.

You would be ok with a reduced role, less TOI for Zadorov assumng one or two more kids keep developing on defense.

I suspect that Murphy gets traded eventually. If both Murphy and Zadorov are gone, we are minus some muscle on defense. Although the new kid from Florida could slot in and Phillips needs at least one year more AHL.

Both Vlasic and Kaiser need to get stronger and grow into NHL dmen...their bodies are not ready yet. Vlasic needs to start using his size.

I might be wrong, but I favor Zadorov here while kids on defense improve. The kids on defense can better handle rough stuff once they mature both their body and game.

Muscle on D is one thing. Being slow to read plays is another. He constantly relies on his size and is slow to the puck. This causes unnecessary battles when the puck should’ve already been moved up the ice or into the zone

I think Murphy brings leadership, Zadorov I’m not sure. I’m okay either way with Zadorov, if Stan gets value back, then move him, if not, I’m okay with a two year contract for a reasonable cap hit, then move him at next year’s TDL as we are not winning a cup next year.

Player a little center in high school and pickup leagues. More bull in China shop parking in front of the net. Terrible at face-offs though.

I played mainly defense but also liked playing as a defensive shutdown center. Was bad at faceoffs, too, though.
