I always hoped that Columbus would grow weary of Ryan Murray always injured and just release him, or not re-sign him. Just to refresh: he was the #2 overall pick his draft year

With all the kids Bowman was drafting and signing for the blueline, I hoped we could sneakily sign Murray on the cheap if Columbus let him go. Murray is actually pretty good if he can stay healthy and stay in groove. For a while he was moved down to the third pair in Columbus, which he is too good to remain there

So now that we have covid you expect Murray out of action again? Nope, not really. Played 31 of 38 games this season and is a +6. Go figure he has remained healthiest in covid times. Plays for NJ Devils.
