Has trotz been handed his pink slip yet? Fuking guy. - TogaIsles
Hopefully Lou fires him and then himself soon after. |

Wonder if Lou is inquiring about Alex Iafallo from the kings. 27 yr old left wing who can put up some points, might be a good fit with Barzal and Ebs.
Edit: I’m sorry, forgot! We already have a good fit with Komarov. My bad. |

😂😂 what I don’t understand, does he actually have to be put on waivers for Bellows or Wahlstrom to play? If so, not sure why they wouldn’t. Would think it would be a good thing (for Isles) for him to be claimed, in the extremely unlikely event he was. |

Who the hell knows what trotz meant he was probably being sarcastic (frank)ing with the fan base because he knows we all hate this |

😂 I know your being sarcastic but that would be truly remarkable. To me Bellows defensive “weaknesses” are far outweighed by his offensive abilities. He works hard, hits and back checks. I honestly have no explanation. And it seems you don’t either. |

I believe he does. And while I’m not a Komarov fan by any means, I see no reason to risk losing him for nothing during season where the Islanders are going all in.

If that’s the case, and he were claimed, then to me that solves a huge offseason challenge we’ll be facing in signing actual good, young players. I realize he has some value but his contract is not nearly in line with what his offensive production should be at that cost. God I hope Lou has some type of trade lined up for him and this will all be resolved Monday. |

Argh!
No one has or will claim him! No other team wants him under that contract! |

I don’t expect any coin to be offloaded by Monday. Rather, I think Lou will work his cap wizardry at the expansion draft. |

1000% JP. To me the only explanation is they are trying to “showcase” him (if that’s even possible) somehow for a trade. I literally have no other reasonable explanation. |

Oh I do. Frankly, I think my left nut would make a better top 6 winger than Komarov. But until the TDL passes, I don’t think we’ll be seeing Wahlstrom. |

Even that explanation doesn't make any sense. No team is going trade for a player they could've claimed for nothing. |

I don’t see all of these supposed defensive lapses when he plays. Not anymore then any other player on the team nothing glaring. |

You’re joking right? If we lost Komarov it would be a positive thing for this team for the cap implications alone. Does anyone remember we put this clown on waivers twice already? Wtf
Lose him for nothing? We would have to pay a team to take him are you high right now? Maybe you’re joking |

Trading him with a pick for another player. That’s the only way he leaves. |

No, I truly believe the organization is afraid to lose him for nothing prior to the playoff push.
Now is this because a deal is in the works? I doubt it, but it’s possible that Komarov might be some squads plan B.
Or perhaps Lou and company just want to hang on to him as a form of depth insurance.
What fans need to remember is that how we feel about losing Komarov is immaterial. The organization sees value in him. |

I get that but if the organization saw so much value in Komarov then why did they throw his fat arse on the waiver wire not once but twice? Also, if “losing him for nothing” is a legit fear of Trotz and Lameriello’s I’m sorry they’re (frank)ing nuts and I’m going to question that thought process and I’m not saying that because I hate Komarov. How could they possibly think that after we lost toews and we will most definitely lose one of our UFA’s this summer due to salary? Nobody is taking this guy.
If we had an opportunity to lose him for nothing I think they would be all over it and if they weren’t they’re (frank)ing nuts. There’s more to this thing I don’t agree with what you’re saying. |

I can’t bold on my phone or I would have your last line. Not being adversarial but what more possibly could there be than they value him? I’m all for waiving his ass I’m just curious what your thinking there might be. Or maybe you have no idea but think something is fishy. For the life of me, I have no idea. Just waive him and put in your better players for the final three games before the deadline. If he gets claimed than yeah free up $3.5 or 4M. |

Doesn’t waiving the guy and trying to give him away for free contradict valuing him? I mean if they think he’s good depth I think that’s (frank)ing insane but ok. If we lose anyone in our top 6 and replace them with Komarov in the playoffs guess what? We’re done. Anyone who thinks otherwise dip your head in a bucket of ice. If that’s the concern get Hall trade Bellows and a second they’re never going to give the kid a chance anyway and dump Komarov with him. Like I said, throwing a guy on waivers twice doesn’t exactly depict them valuing him. You disagree? Nobody has been able to explain that one yet... |
